I'm a really picky eater and I don't like any low cal/fat salad dressing. I recently found Girard's Light Champagne Salad Dressing and really liked it but then I come to find out it's 500mg of sodium?!?!?!?

I don't like Lemon, salt and pepper as a dressing and I don't like olive oil and vinegar

Is there any other options??? Please share :) Thanks :flowerforyou:

bump - I would be interested in this too...I like the low calorie/low fat dressings..but I use 2 tbsp sometimes - and that can equal to 500 mgs of sodium...way to much!

it's hard to suggest anything when you say you don't like any low cal/fat dressings since there are sooo many out there. my current fav is Renee's pear guava vinaigrette. it's 35 cals and 90mg sodium per tbsp, but it is not specifically a low cal/fat dressing, it just happens to be both. there are a few other Renee's dressings that are also better in the cal and sodium area. specifically the fruit ones.

you could also try some greek yogourt with a little garlic and lemon juice added. add a little milk or water to thin it out and there you go. would taste like tzatziki sauce.

Have you tried something like Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing? It doesn't have that many calories, and I don't think it has that much sodium in it either.

Take a tablespoon of a dressing you do like, add a tablespoon of wine vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and whisk it up. Half the damage and it tastes great.

Also, if you toss your salad with dressing, rather than pouring it over the top, you will need very little dressing. I like to put mine in a tupperware and shake it up.

Check out Wishbone Salad Spritzers, it is a spray salad dressing (very light) 15 calories for 10 sprays, 65mg of sodium! I use Ranch Viniagrette! Love it!!

I'm a big fan of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar combo. Sure it contains 14g per 1 tbls of oil but it's a good fat!
