  • I'm using endomondo as well and really like it. I have a problem though. I've found that somewhere in the sync transition my calories will more than double on MFP from what they were on endomondo. For example on endomondo the other day I got about 325 burned. It came in on MFP as 827. Any ideas what the problem may be?
  • Thank you! I have been working with Endomondo since reading about it here and I like it so far. :)
  • Thanks. That's the kind of info I am looking for. I am trying out Sworkit lite right now. I like how easy it is to use with MFP. I haven't really figured out some of it though so I'll see if I stick with it.
  • I've seen people look both younger and older. I've wondered if some of it has to do with skin type. I've hoped that people with oily skin look younger since that is what I have! I've thought about that since I often here that people who have oily skin seem to wrinkle less. Since I still have zits at45 it would be nice if…
  • One other thing - I also didn't know what preeclampsia (or toxemia as most people called it) before I got it. If she hasn't even been diagnosed with it yet then it doesn't surprise me the OP doesn't know much about it. And I don't suggest googling it because there are a lot of horror stories about it that are not the norm…
  • I knew every little about preeclampsia before I had my first 19 years ago. I knew very little about premature babies. The OP is 23. I was 26. I really didn't understand how important that rest is to the baby till I took that tour of the NICU and I suspect that if someone hasn't been around preemies in the NICU it will be…
  • I had preeclampsia with all 3 of my children and had them all early because of it - 5 weeks, 7 weeks and 9 weeks early. Preeclampsia means that your pregnancy is causing your blood pressure to go high and it can not only affect the baby, but cause your kidneys and liver to start shutting down. It can also cause seizures.…
  • I have a thought about dry beans. I haven't done this before, but from what I have worked with beans I think this would work. Soak the beans overnight. Drain and rinse in the morning. Then put them back on the stove with and bring it up to boiling water. Add your seasonings. Then place it in a thermos. I'm thinking by the…
  • Love it! Some day I will join you. :)
  • " I always get confused on where to measure! Like where the exact location to measure my hips and my waist? " My trainer measures me every 3 weeks. These are things he has told me - have someone else measure you if you can - the same person each time. On your arms and legs do it at the half point. Meaning divide the length…
  • Interesting reactions. I'm in this for the long hall. I have 100 pounds to lose. My thought is if I have a problem with someone "judging" me then I'm not going to continue to have them as my friend. I really don't want to be told, "great job!" when I've eaten very poorly even though I am under calories. That's not a friend…
  • Ugh. I was just searching to find out where they were.
  • I agree. And don't be afraid to modify. It was interesting to hear the different modifications everyone was doing in class that I never would have caught on my own. One woman didn't raise her arms above her head because it made her dizzy. I don't turn on my left leg because of a bum ankle. Another woman never jumps. Just…
  • I get anywhere from 6-10 glass of non carbonated liquid a day because: and I'm also more regular when I do. I read up about water too and didn't drink as much for awhile. It didn't take long before I could really feel it. So it doesn't really matter to me if science backs it up since it just makes me feel better.
  • Are all of your tests high or just some at certain times of the day? Which type of diabetic are you? Are you on oral meds or insulin? Do you find certain times of the day you run less high than others? Are you exercising now? What type of exercise? When? How long? All of that can make a difference and we can give better…
  • I'd like to find one as well. I can tell you one I don't recommend - Zumba fitness live. It is the original zumba guy doing it life with a group. While it worked me out the camera work stunk. Sometimes when the instructor started a new step then the camera would focus in on someone in the crowd - not what she was doing,…

  • BTTing because I'd really like to get the answer before the end of the day if possible.
  • It does tell you how many calories, but many people find them inaccurate, especially if you weigh more than normal - they've tested it with their HRMs. So I don't recommend the game if you really want that in your game. For the most part I've liked the game. I like that it gives me something to do different than I normally…
