Yes, that can be frustrating! Try just having one cookie or 1/2 cup of ice cream and then find something to do to keep your mind off it. Yes, it is much harder to take weight off than when we were younger. I am 76 and find it harder to get in the exercise I need.

Yup! I am 75...... the weight is coming off slowly but surely! Keeping track of what you are eating helps when you get those urges to eat too much. Not that we don't all overdo once in awhile, but this helps us get back on track.

Yes, as time goes on you will get more excited about this precious little one. The unexpected can be a shock (my first 2 were unplanned by us but planned by God). Go to Allrecipes.com - my favorite online recipe database and you will find lots of new recipes. I haven't had one yet that I didn't like and others in my family use it also :)
