If I work out first thing, I don't eat before I go to the gym... but all I'm doing is cardio. I tend to get a stitch even if I have the smallest snack. Strength training is a different story. I'll definitely have something before I do any weights.

Keep going. Consistency is the key if you want results...maybe put the scale away for a bit too? I tend to obsess with scale weight and it is really demotivating at times. Measure yourself, and focus on other changes (increased energy, better skin, fitness levels) to keep you on the right track :)

I just recalculated my intake to align it with TDEE and I'm building up to hitting the 1600 mark... it makes it so much harder too when you're working out. I'm really trying not to go out and gorge on a slab of cake but I really don't see any other way about it! Haha. I shouldn't complain though, really...

One thing I've definitely learnt is that doctors and their advice can be bs.... if that number feels to low for how you are feeling/looking then adjust as you go along. Ultimately what you feel looks good and feels good is always going to be the perfect number for YOU :)
