  • I have no advice since I am facing a struggle as well, but OMG you look amazing!!!!! Perhaps your body is comfortable where it is?
  • Thanks. I will get back on track and not weigh myself again til next Wednesday. This really changed my whole mood this morning :(
  • I think it's great for those who want to and can be extremely healthy! Plant based food in it's natural form is the best there is. That said the only friends I had who became vegan went over the edge, every social media post is attacking the moral compass of those who eat meat and that I can not tolerate. We each make the…
  • I loved this, thank you! I may read it daily :)
  • Just made this last week and my new favorite recipe! Chop up two heads cauliflower, 1 parsnip, 3-4 carrots and 2 stalks celery; throw in large pot and just barely cover with water; add parsley and salt and pepper. Cook until the veggies are super soft (approx. 30 mins) take out 2/3 and purée. Add back to pot, cook another…
  • I am not able to run in the cold outside due to my asthma. Even with advair, spireva and taking my albuterol before I go out. I resort to indoor cardio during cold months and head back outside in April.
  • How does p90x3 compare to T25 from a result standpoint? I've been doing T25. Is P90X3 better?

  • Adding another goal: stop taking bites of everyone else's food in my house! If I just ate what I made myself I would be fine.
  • I don't have a heart rate monitor, I only do it manually or with my iPhone app so I will check it tonight as soon as I finish my workout but before cool down which sounds like a better indicator. Thanks
  • A long run outside will get it up to 100. But I am not doing so in this weather...
  • Yes, BP is around 98/56 typically
  • I live on spaghetti squash! I poke some fork holes in it, bake at 400 for 90 minutes. Slice open and scoop out. Then I eat with some spray butter, feta and garlic salt. Sometimes I'll put some cut up cooked chicken in too for some extra protein. Yummy!!!
  • I got an awesome one on Amazon for $12!
  • Get to an ortho to find out what the heck is wrong with my leg so I can work out again. This is incredibly frustrating and depressing.

  • On this same subject, Anyone show a difference on the scale when they have it? I ask because I have a leg injury and haven't been able to work out for a week but have been very good with my calorie restrictions, but I have mine now and when I hopped on the scale I was 3 lbs up. I'm freaking out!!
  • 1 and 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 cup quinoa (I used a black bean quinoa package) 2 large sweet potatoes (1 pound or ~3-1/2 cups) 1 can (15.25 ounces) black beans 1 can (14.5 ounces) petite diced tomatoes 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 packet (1.25 ounces) chili seasoning mix 5 cups chicken broth* Optional:…
  • Same height and 115 but nowhere close to size 4. Size 6 jeans but snug. Opposite of you, nada up top and everything in my hips and butt
  • Thanks all. Swimming and cycle are out as it has to be things I can do at home (4 kids and career, no getting out for me), but the floor barre, chair exercises and yoga sound like great options! I'll check youtube for videos I can follow. Thank you.
  • Hi, thanks for remembering. I actually updated that post yesterday. It went fantastic - I planned ahead, was able to have two cocktails, eat a healthy meal and even have two bites of my husbands dessert and still stayed at 1200 calories for the day! It was an awesome night out and I really didn't feel like I sacrificed…
  • Definitely heading to doctor today. I know I didn't break it but not sure if I sprained it or tore or pulled something. Aaaahhhh
  • Way to go! Stick with it, you got this!
  • Well, I did it! We went out, I pre planned my meal from their website; I was able to enjoy a meal, have two alcoholic beverages, two bites of my husbands cheesecake dessert and still kept my total daily calories at 1200!!! Awesome evening out and didn't seem like I had to sacrifice much! Thanks all. Planning is everything.
  • Making my way through it and will hopefully have more time tonight, thanks.
  • Thanks, yes, I guess I was just concerned about going over what I have been eating since it has been working for me but I have to let go of that obsessive thinking.
  • So I started logging and weighing everything I eat and I am averaging 1000 calories, not including my exercise deficit. I am losing but here's the thing. I've always read not to go below 1200 calories but I truly feel great, not deprived and have a ton of energy. If I feel really good like this and am healthy, is it truly…
  • A teaspoon of Nutella and I'm good to go!
  • Wow great tips here, thanks everyone. I tend to have a very obsessive personality so now that I am going strong I struggle with deviation. I will get over it. My calories have been so low already I really will have nothing to "bank" but I will look at menu and plan ahead and make the best of the evening. Thanks all.
  • Perfect, thanks!
