Goats cheese, beetroot, nuts and tomato salad with a little vinaigrette - yum. Avocado and tuna salad. Consider buying a wide necked thermos so you can bring warmed soups and stews from home

I find the same. Sometimes I have to go to bed early because I know I'll snack if I stay up. Are you eating enough calories during the day? Are you drinking enough water? Dehydration feels a lot like hunger. Maybe swap out some of your carbs for higher protein alternatives that will keep you feeling full for longer. I find…

Don't put yourself down LadyClou. Every new app takes getting used to. In my experience, the smartest people are those who ask questions when they are unsure.

Thanks for the advice all. I've lost 10% of my body weight in three months. The weight has come off pretty easily but maybe a bit too quickly. I'll try maintenance for a few weeks and see how I get on. Same routine on healthy eating and tracking but slightly bigger portions to achieve balance. It's all about habit forming.…

Hey Lauren, I'm surprised at the HR Director reacting like that. You haven't actually given your notice yet. You spoke informally with your line manager informing him of your intention to leave that's all. You have a contract stating 4 weeks notice. Your employer cannot insist on a longer term than that. Any change to that…

If I keep going at the current rate it will be about 5kg//11lb. But I'm trying really hard not to set myself deadlines for two reasons. 1. The loss doesn't track to expectations and I loose motivation 2. I hit the Christmas goal, feel very pleased with myself and allow myself to slip as a reward Christmas is a food fest. I…

I'm in a similar situation. 5'7" and 101kg. I started seven weeks ago at 106kg. My TDEE is 2,300 and I've set my daily limit at 1900 cals to lose about one pound per week. Sounds like 1200 was too low and 2,300 is maintenance. Maybe a daily target of 1800-1900 calories would work better for you.

Pretty much everyone in Europe drives manual cars. Automatics are the exception. I drive a stick shift, except now that I'm on MFP, I don't drive much at all. Walking and cycling are more my thing these days

Blitz cauliflower in a food processor until it's finely ground. Microwave with a little water for about five minutes. Serve with curry or stir fry instead of rice. It's not rice, but it's yummy

You will need an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen for a week or so. Once you bring the inflamation down, the inserts and stretching will stop it getting bad again

There is so much truth in your post. Don't let little things derail you; hold yourself accountable. Don't look on it as a chore or sacrifice but rather as way of achieving a new and better life. Such a well written and incisive entry. Thanks for sharing and well done, you look fantastic.

Boiled egg, slice of wholemeal soda bread, scrape of butter, teaspoon of marmalade and a cup of tea with a dollop of low fat milk. 212 cals

Funny that. When I lost the first 10lbs I had some people tell me that I was looking great but cautioning me not to loose too much more. 10lbs!, I needed to loose 70lb in total to get back to the top of my healthy weight range. I just smiled and said nothing. Now I'm down 31lbs, almost halfway to my goal and nobody is…

I eat bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, couscous, porridge. I've tried going carb free for a meal and generally end up chewing the table! It's all about balance and everything in moderation. Wish I had realised that a few years earlier.
