Hang in there. Remember it is journey. Maybe the stress of losing the weight is actually causing you not to lose it. When I feel this way I do something fun and active like do go hiking or a night out dancing. It helps me appreciate what my now fitter body can do and takes my mind off the scale for bit.

Sounds like you are doing great. Believe or not I took a week off working out but continued to eat healthy and I lost the most weight I have lost in a week the following week. I think my body was very fatigued and the rest helped the intensity for my workouts that following week.

TGIF-I try to make reasonable food choices even during the weekend to minimize damage to my diet. Halving the portion of something you like very much instead of eating the entire amount goes a long way. You are satisfied without the guilt and extra calories.

Doing the same exercise all the time becomes less and less effective. The body is great at adapting so to challenge it which is what we need to do to continue to see results it is best to change the type of exercise. Not an insult but remarks when I decline to eat something everyone else is eating. "Why are you trying to lose some weight or something?" This is usually asked in a condescending manner as if that is a bad thing by the person stuffing their face with junk food. Really?

I recently stopped eating all meat except for fish and lost 12 lbs and I am working out half as much as I was before. I still have yogurt, eggs and milk occasionally. I am not an expert but I had the same issue last month and I think you have to change something. You may have to reduce your carb intake or increase the intensity of your workouts. But I don't think reducing your calories is a good idea, your workouts may suffer because you will have less energy. Also changing your workout…

I would find a better way to deal with life's issues than eating sugar. Ice cream always seemed to comfort me when I was miserable. Then I became more miserable after gaining the weight. It has been a huge cycle.

I found a great recipe for a pear ginger smoothie from greenlitebites.com. She has a smoothie ideas link. Today I added a whole pear, 2-3 cups of baby spinach, half a banana, 1/4 cup of skim milk and 4 strawberries. I poured it in a glass and topped it with 1/4 cup of low fat granola. It was delicious.:smile:
