  • Great I hope the snack idea works for you. I know it helps me alot.
  • Hi, I'm Heather, 35, and Mom to an almost 2 year old little boy. I have been "chubby" all my life, but ballooned up to the 200 club in college and pretty much kept the weight on over the course of 11 years since I graduated. I was depressed and living in a difficult marriage. After going through a divorce, I lost about 30…

  • Happy to have joined the group! I managed to lose 19 so far over the course of 6 months, but my diet hasn't been on point as much as it could be. Hoping this will motivate me further!
  • When I forget my lunch at home or simply run out of time to pack a lunch, I usually walk a couple blocks down to Subway. But most of the time I have it packed night before, ready to go. I sometimes leave a few freezer meals in our freezer at work as well for just in case days.
  • I'm doing C25K as well. My next run is the dreaded W5 D3. I think you took the right advice in slowing down. I mostly run on my treadmill and my jogging portions are currently at 3.6. I just recently dropped from 3.8 now that I'm getting to the longer jogs and I've felt it has helped me push through just fine! Good luck!…
  • shrimp alfredo w/pasta
  • my homemade grilled shrimp taco salad: 2 cups leafy romaine, 4 oz shrimp, 1 oz shredded cheese, 2 tbsp black beans, 2 tbsp corn, 2 oz guac, 5 tbsp salsa and 2 servings chipotle flavored tortilla strips! 472 cals and it's so good!
  • i've logged it as aerobics, low impact
  • I just finished week 4 and I've never been a runner in my life. When I first started I thought there was no way I'd ever be able to run longer than 30 seconds but I've proven myself wrong. I agree with the above poster stating that the difficulty is more mental. I constantly give myself pep talks. I run slow and I use the…

  • Did this an hour ago, weighed 6 oz, boiled it, drained it then weighed it. Divided by 3 and ate my portion!
  • I enjoy Leslie Sansone workouts and would say it's absolutely a good starting point. It's very easy to follow, so I put it on mute and plug in my earbuds and walk away.
  • i've been logging mine as circuit training.
  • Leftover steak stir fry over rice
  • chocolate chip swirl bread topped with PB!
  • I'm love Sabra as well. My favorite is the spinach and artichoke flavor! Like the above poster says, I portion out the serving size (or sometimes 2 if it's within my calories). I like to eat mine with toasted pita chips! Such a yummy and filling snack!
  • I eat Mexican all the time. I have a small portion of the chips and salsa and munch on them slowly. Usually order the shrimp tacos w/a side of the grilled veggies which I will add to my tacos with a little guac!
  • Most mornings I have toast with PB and Banana and I usually have egg salad for lunch or dinner. Your oatmeal sounds yummy.
  • My little guy is about to be 2 in July and I had those same feelings that you have up until a couple months ago. I was depressed for awhile and just lazy and tired. Honestly, for me it wasn't until about a month ago that I finally said I need to get up and start moving. Since then I have more energy and I'm not as tired…

  • The Disney Food Blog has a list of all the dining locations along with the menus if you'd like to have a look and see whats available.
  • I wouldn't worry either. I've been to Disney many times the last time I went I walked over 25,000 steps per day. Make sure you stay hydrated though! There are many lower calorie food options if you do ever feel like you want to eat a lighter meal.
  • I have just started using the kettlebell and I love it. I have started with the Fitness Blender's beginner kettlebell workout. I was so sore after the first time. This is my first time using any kind of weights in years.
  • 2 Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate with Caramel filling squares I had a sweet tooth!
  • You look incredible! Thanks for sharing your story!
