  • Congrats on making the decision to change your life! "Myfitnesspal" will be a great resource for you. I have found a ton of great recipes on the "community" tab. I have found that watching my calories has taught me how much to eat and before I knew it, I wasn't over eating anymore and the weight is falling off. :)…
  • I think pausing is fine. Mix it up, do both. That's what I would do when I was doing P90X. Keep going though. You will be glad you did. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Weight Loss Tools
  • I use a Hemp protein powder and do shakes most mornings. It gets me through for 3 hours or so until lunch. The main reason is that it is very quick to mix a shake. When I'm not being lazy, I do up different egg mixers. Whites only. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Weight Loss Tools
  • this come from a Vitamix page. The different combos is nice and will give you ideas. I would recommend purchasing a Vitamix machine. They are expensive, but well worth the $$ if you ask me. If you are a Costco member, you of course can buy them a lot cheaper. Costco has the "roadshows" and Vitamix is a popular one. I find…

  • There is a great book called "Eating for Life" that I started with along time ago and still use it today. I'm not much of a cook, but the book is real easy to follow (has pics of food/product) and it has great snack ideas. It also has the calorie count, etc. Highly recommended!
  • I fit back into my size 12 Lucky jeans and not have them skin tight. :) Good luck
  • I am stuck at home due to motorcycle accident and foot in cast right now. So, I have been able to get very creative with therapy bands. You can buy them almost anywhere. They are cheap, don't take up any room and they come with several different resistance. And they travel great as well! If you've been at a gym before, it…
  • Right now I am not working out due to multiple injuries from being hit on my motorcycle a year ago. But, I did start MFP 10 days ago and watching the calories and keeping an eye on the carbs vs. proteins. I'd rather take in more protein then carbs because they keep me feeling fuller and if a person takes in too many carbs,…
  • It took a lot of courage to post the pics and I applaud you. And I thank you. It's very motivating to see what others have been able to achieve and to know that I too can do this. Thanks again for your courage. You look great by the way! :)
  • Another good recipe book is "Eating for Life." I haven't made anything in it that I don't like. It encourages healthy eating. I don't use anything else really.
  • The cook book "Eating for Life" is awesome recipes and one of them is for meatloaf. Unfortunately, I don't have it handy, but thought I'd mention the book.
  • your recipe sounds delich! And I was glad to hear that I ended up winning over the fight with the family. It can be very hard to be successful on any program when you are also trying to make the family happy as well. Not to mention, a lot more expensive. Good for you girl!
