Hi, I'm also a shortie - 5ft :) Would like to have some shorty friends as well (no guys though, sorry). Most of my MFP friends aren't very active on here, so I'd love to have more friends to keep me more motivated.

I'm taking a break from it for the next few weeks. I've just been on vacation where I had a beer almost every day, and now when I think of alcohol it makes me feel nauseous! I want to see how effective it is in regards to my weight loss, and also challenge myself a bit.

Thank you all for the advice. And I wasn't clear enough in my previous post. I did mean "crutching" when I said walking with the crutches, that is walking on my strong leg and using the crutches to help me with moving the weak leg. :) No way was I thinking about bearing weight on the weak leg. English is not my first…

Thanks everybody for the replies :) I'm gonna calorie count at least to start with - until I get the hang of the portions and all that. My bad Kristen, I was actually gonna word it differently but I forgot. Becka, I never said I'm not doing this as a weight loss diet, like I said in my OP my stomach doesn't handle grain…

Thanks, but I know about the healthy and unhealthy aspects of the diet. Of course I'm gonna do it the healthy way. I was just asking about whether I should calorie count or not.
