A cup of water is 8oz. 1oz = 30ml. So 240ml is 8oz. Those that are questioning how I get 30ml per 1oz that is the guidelines we use at all the health facilities I have worked at as well as the guidelines for Nursing School.

My mother suffers from Panic/Anxiety attacks and takes Lorazepam. It use to be a daily occurance and they were gradually getting worse and more frequent, she was to the point she was eating Lorazepam like candy and it wasn't helping. Being a nursing student I can see where the doctor and nurse is coming from with running or exercising during a Panic attack. During a panic attack your sympathetic mechanism is triggered "Fight or Flight" which pretty much revs your body up. I know when I get stressed I go for a short run, usually no more than 30 minutes,…

I burned 288 calories doing 27 minutes of level 1 JM 30DS today. My HR, at peak, was 175bmp, and averaged about 155bmp with a resting HR of 82bpm. I'm 5'4" and 205lbs. I use a Polar FT40.

How does 1lb of muscle weigh more than 1lb of fat?

Started it today and I have to say even with me hitting the gym last week didn't prepare me for this, lol. But I made it through, even talked my big brother into doing it with me. I think he griped more than me during it. Feel free to add me. I can definitely use the support.

Adipose tissue is more of a "geeked" term. And technically you dont get "rid" of it, you use the solidified energy stored in those cells and shrink them.

I work out at the fitness center that is incorperated with the college I go to. That is til I graduate in May and move to OK. Then I'll have to hunt for a new place.

My starting off weight is 205. I would love to get as close to 140 by May. I'm a full-time nursing student with a 4 year old daughter. Feel free to add me, I could really use the extra motivation and support.

My goal is to lose 65lbs or close to that amount, and hopefully try and lose 45lbs by this May for my Nursing Graduation. I have a fitness center at my disposal at the college I go to, but I'm wanting to do exercises at home as well, I'm just unsure at to what workout DVDs to look for. So any support and/or suggestions…
