whenever i lose a good chunk of weight, i get cold easier..i chalked it up to getting rid of insulation:)

i don't think a complete rest day is required. for example, i don't elliptical etc on sundays, but i do go for a good walk, weather permitting. i guess it all depends how strenuous we are talking.

my girlfriend and i went out for a no guilt valentine's dinner that included: -crabcake appetizer -vietnamese salad rolls appetizer 9 oz glass of behringer white zinfandel thick cut pork chop with apple sauce carmalized yams veggie mix it was yummy..and i didn't give a damn:)

good perspective.and good results. i always check for confirmations on food i enter here..and do it pretty religiously. pretty low on calories, weight loss is in fits and starts (last week great, this week, working my butt off..and nothing) frustrating. makes me wanna eat a big *kitten* mcdonalds meal:)

i wouldn't worry about being over protein. just drink lots of water to help your kidneys process. the basic carb/fat/protein proportions here from what i recall don't have a very high protein level anyway.

I call it "funday" (as in sunday..bigger breakfast with family sunday, bigger sunday dinner with family) i allow myself to eat up to my my maximum calories but it also tends to be a non workout day as well for me. i get a good walk in if the weather's nice, but no gym..and i don't go nuts on the eating..it's too depressing…

love portobello mushrooms..they are good too with a bit of olive oil and that dark vinegar and any other seasoning you like (like you use for dipping focaccio) marinate in a baggie for a day in the mix, then put some shredded skim milk mozzarella on top and bbq!

I am ashamed to admit i like mcdonalds..and it can be one of my worst enemies cause it's cheap and plentiful. (food for a recession, as some call it). and quite frankly, they've always had terrible meat products. i simply cannot eat it anymore.
