  • well my biggest fear is that I'm going to completely seize up! Or break something! Then it will just be a big fat waste of money! I need a trial run!!
  • Thanks! This is really helpful. You're right, no one will know if I'm doing it properly. But if I'm not doing it properly surely I'd benefit more from doing something less intense but for a longer period? Maybe some yoga to get some muscle strengh before I annihilate them...
  • I have to say, I tried judging my calories by my BMR at my goal weight which worked out at 2097. I didn't lose any weight but I wasn't able to exercise so that's understandable... I also didn't put any on which was great! But what I couldn't understand was that even without exercising, I supposedly wasn't consuming enough…
  • Hey! You look fab, there's a huge difference! And you are so lucky that you seem to have naturally slim legs. I've been thinking of doing the 30ds but am worried that I won't be able to maintain it afterwards. Has anyone else here done it but piled the weight on as soon as they stopped?
  • Definitely Beyonce! At 5ft 10 I think a figure like hers is a more realistic goal than a lot of celebrities. I still want my curves, and will never have small thighs!
  • Hey! Thanks for the help, although I was very naughty in the end: 2 poppadoms Chicken tikka starter (but stuffed with lamb mince!) Nice spicy curry with pilau rice for main Cheese Naan!! However, I did not eat ALL of it. I logged it (along with half a bottle of wine) as best I could and the damage doesn't look too bad....…
  • 5ft 10" I have NEVER been a stick and never want to. But perhaps I'd like to be more of a branch than a tree trunk! SW: 219 CW: 210 GW: 168 I have quite a long way to go!
  • Thanks for putting this into perspective for me. I am 5ft 10 which is definitely taller than the average woman, so I guess 2200 doesn't sound too horrendous. Like a lot of the people on here, MFP set my goal as 1260 cals a day and I have been keeping close to that, eating any calories I burn. I have been losing weight so…
  • The alarm bells ringing for me are that in the UK the government tells us that for a healthy diet women should consume around 2000 calories per day. The calculator recommends I consume 2200 to maintain my goal weight and I really am not very active so this leaves me feeling nervous. Having said that, I am a firm believer…
  • I'd love to quit smoking but I have 51lbs to lose and think I'd be on to a losing battle if I tried both at the same time. I'm 24 and have a lovely 2year old daughter. I'd love to quit for her sake but know that I need to build up my self esteem first. So myfitnesspal, lets kick some calorie butts!!
