First off congratulations on the work you did. Incredible. I am on an 16/8 IF and am thinking of condensing it down to 5 hours of eating and skipping b-fast. I can't believe you found both a doctor and a dietitian to sign off on the one meal a day. Very happy to hear that. Most seem so conventional and fear the risks. Did…

This 100%. The cliche "life is short" is even shorter in the grand scheme of things so treat time as a commodity and don't spend it on aholes like that.

Photo looks convincing as far as the stats. As far as the time length, notice the date behind him in the before photo. I am willing to bet he has several other photos for verification for the challenge. It's on par with Body for Life challenge before/after photos.

My trainer recommended ezekiel bread. You can find it in the frozen section. Just put in the toaster for a few seconds to get it soft. It's natural, low calorie and has a lot of fiber. http://www.eatthis.com/ezekiel-bread

He looks much healthier than he did prior to the weight loss. To me the benchmark for 'is this healthy or not' is the activity level. He was walking more and more - if it was not healthy - he would not be able to keep up the exercise. I would be willing to bet that fastpitch's blood tests would also be vastly improved - a…

If there was ever a 1 paragraph diet book - this is it. Well done and great advice.

Jurassic Park BTW - huge Goodfellas fan. Dean Martin's music was in the movie but Dean Martin as an actor or cameo was not in the movie.

Amazing and inspirational results. Condolences on the passing of your father.

Wow! Amazing! From the pictures I have seen - it looks like you have put in the work because you look much stronger now than your before pictures. Great job!

Awesome. Amazing job. Question for you - what did you do for exercise and what do you do now?

"And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer." Benefits of a classical education. He could definitely play a badass role.

Great post and incredible transformation.

He had one of the more recognizable and unique voices. Very sad to hear the news this morning. The first person I thought of was my niece who was a big fan of the Harry Potter books and absolutely loved Rickman as Professor Snape in the movies. His final work will be Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Yes I do. It's probably your app. I use Digifit which does synch with no issues. I do wonder at times if they overestimate the cal's I burn. Anyways - you have to pay a fee to allow Digifit to use Bluetooth devices. But you only have to pay once and it tracks you through email in case you change phones. The cost is....I…

Amazing. Thank you for sharing. I don't think your stomach looks that bad. It might improve over a short amount of time (1 year or so).

I was thinking along the lines of the 311 song.

I have used the polar chest straps, a Mio global watch, and Scosche Rhythm+. My favorite is easily the Scoche. It's kind of a hybrid between the chest and watch. It fits on your forearm and sends signals via Bluetooth to your phone or iPad. I did not love the polar due to the trouble to put on the chest strap and would…

Yeah. The 190 HR is extreme. Are you taking any meds like blood pressure and/or thyroid?

Both articles are not related to the step mill. The first article is based on the old stair master which leaves the user in a stationary position. The 2nd is based on using normal stairs which are fixed. You don't leave the same footprint on a step mill as you would a fixed stair.…

Step Mill - it's the ultimate for cardio machines. It looks like a mini escalator. The cool thing is you don't have to go at a fast rate to be covered in sweat after 30 minutes. I don't consider it high impact on knees unless you have issues with stairs.

Thanks for sharing. They seem to share the similar nutrition value as Goya so it's not variant based on the manufacturer. 10 grams of protein and 11grams of fiber in an 80 cal serving. Pretty potent food. Stupid question - would this be a soy based food?

Absolutely notice a change. Great work!

Que??? He was an Australian actor who stared in a role as Spartacus - the most famous gladiator of all time...? On a serious note - he died of cancer at the age of I think 38. I think he would have broke out as an actor. He would probably be my first choice to bring someone back.

I was there a few years ago due to location. It was probably before the commercials but the lunk alarm, color code and all that was in effect. The great thing was the price: 9.99 per month. I wanted to pay for a year up front but they did not allow for that. The free weights section was not terrible but limited. The max…
