I also have Neurocardiogenic Syncope. I started having issues when I intentionally lowered my sodium intake. After they completed the tilt table, my cardiologist had put me on Midodrine, but it really messed with my system. I felt worse while exercising when I was on it. I have upped my sodium intake closer to where it was…

There is a way to actually log that you're "Driving Car" so it will adjust accordingly for that time period. Just be sure to pay attention to when you get into the car and how long you were driving. I accidentally got into the pool with mine 2 days ago and have spent 2 days devastated because I wasn't able to save it. :o(…

NSV = Non-Scale Victory 1.) I was able to have a shopping trip where I bought nothing but "L" and nothing with a "W" behind it! 2.) My current clothes are practically falling off 3.) My first sub-11:00 mile!

Congratulations! That is fantastic. Since joining MFP, I've had some scary episodes of near-fainting coupled with heart attack symptoms. After seeing a cardiologist, one simply test determined that I actually have a condition that requires me to increase my sodium intake. Had I not started this site, I wouldn't have found…

Played alto sax in JH, but transitioned to French Horn in 8th grade. Stuck with that through college. My major was vocal music Ed., so I'm classically trained, but my heart lies with singing jazz. I was also a High School choir director for 8 years, but I'm taking a break to be a stay-at-home Mom.

Thanks, guys! All great suggestions. I need to start cooking more fish anyway. This will be good incentive to learn.

I am DEFINITELY a fan of cheese and salsa. I'll consider that an automatic add. :o) And it will definitely add taste to my usual morning egg. Thanks!

I already add salt to almost everything and still have a decently low sodium intake. I suppose I'll just try adding more. I'm hesitant to cook…

It absolutely works. I worked through the couch to 5k program a couple of years ago from a point of getting winded walking around the block. I continued to push myself after completing the program and finished my first half-marathon last January. Stick with it, listen to your body, and see if you can find someone to join…
