33 with about 60 to lose. Feel free to friend.

Remember to take it one step at a time. Literally. Even if it is just a walk to the corner everyday, and then extending your distance and time each day. Find something you enjoy doing for exercise. But mainly, just start moving!! :) Feel free to add me if you would like!

Awesome! Thanks for the water advice! (Some how I didn't think of that.)

I will agree with everyone else, and say don't skip it!! It will feel awesome to accomplish it. And a couple of questions, how much water had you had the night before? How about dinner, was it carb heavy? (I know for me, both of these factors tend to slow me down and screw me up for morning runs.) Also, you did take a rest…

I agree that taking a day off and then going into day three should be fine. Strangely, that was the same place I got hung up on when I did it the first time around. Try to remember to take it one day at a time, and you will be fine!

Welcome to MFP. I log in everday, and offer support to those who do as well. Anyone is free to add me. :)

I usually life or bike on my days off, except on Sundays, then I just tend to go for longer walks with the dog, instead of anything strenuous.

Feel free to add me as well. :)

I for awhile was bringing my bike to work in the mornings, and then biking home after work. I didn't have a choice but to get out of bed the next morning to ride in, because I had no other mode of transportation. Now when the alarm goes off, I remember that I actually feel better for the rest of the day, and won't miss my…

Don't get discouraged!! Everyone has good days and bad days, even with running. I think changing your route up would be a good place to start (can you do the reverse of what you are currently doing??). I know that made all the difference in the world for me! Good luck and know that you CAN do this!!

Woot that's awesome!! Good job!! My first 5K was also on Mother's Day!! This program really does work, it's awesome!!
-
You definitely can!! Good luck!! Good job CollinsClan!! That's awesome!!

I took the rest days as resting from running, but not from doing everything physical. You should be fine with Zumba and JM's ripped! I did Zumba or biked or lifted on my "rest" days.

Galic, it goes into everything I make. On sandwiches and such a little bit of oil and vinegar.

For me, I find jogging outside easier than jogging on the treadmill. I get really bored on the treadmill, and I don't push myself nearly as hard as I do outside. That being said, if you are actually enjoying the treadmill run, do that!! It's all about what works best for you!

I went with the Slim and now pretty much I don't even notice that it is there. (I also have pretty petite wrists, so I feel like anything bigger would be annoying to me.)

Another vote for Road ID. I have the bracelet version, that I wear all the time, whether I am running, walking, biking, out with the dog, and life in general.

I weigh everyday, every morning. I only record once a week on here, but I also record everyday in a personal journal. The personal journal has a lot of thougts/feelings/etc., that I am not completely comfortable with putting online, but I do like to have it written down, to refer to. It's helped a lot in seeing trends, and…

There are a ton of recipes here I would love to try! Thank you all!!

I finished on Friday. 4/27/12. Now I have two weeks to work on getting my time down. I have a 5K race (my first ever,at age 29) on May 13. I have a personal goal to do it under 35 minutes (currently holding steady at 39 minutes). So we shall see!!
-
Week 9, which I just finished day 3 of this morning. Though I think part of my problem is I am focussing on the distance and not the time.
-
Usually, why I am running/the race coming up/the weight I want to lose/ etc. Then I start thinking about the scenery, and how peaceful it is that early in the morning. And on trash days, not gonna lie, I look at other's people's trash/recycling and wonder about people. Mainly, it ends up being relaxing, me time.
-
My first race is in three and a half weeks. I will be 2 weeks done with Couch to 5K program. My goal for the two weeks in between is just to see if I can get my time down. Good luck!

That's pretty awesome! Congrats!!

Hello and welcome to both! Feel free to add me, if you would like. I am on week 8, and I am signed up for a 5K in a month. And contemplating a 10 miler in October. I am also knew to running, and this program has been wonderful!

I am inclined to agree with this. Though I suppose it depends on if you are looking to run the full 5K or if you really just want to be able to run for 30 minutes without stopping. Depends on your personal goal. Good luck with whatever you do! And to answer your question, I finish next Friday! :D
