Hi, I've been successful on MFP before but I've fallen off the wagon a couple of times. This time feels more right and I am ready to make more long term changes. I have around 70 lbs to lose and I'm trying to break that down into smaller chunks so I don't get overwhelmed and give up. I'm always looking for new friends,…

Weekends are my big weakness. I tend to relax a little and it can snowball. This weekend I stayed pretty close to on track by doing 2 long workouts and setting MFP reminders on my phone to log each meal (those have been HUGE) The second is injury. I have been injured many times before and it can be depressing and throw me…

Everyone that I know that has done medifast (myself included) has put all or almost all of the weight back on. If you stick to logging here, you WILL lose weight and be able to function in the real world the whole time.

Current: Fine wine and craft beer sales rep Dream Job: this is pretty much it- as long as I stay in the industry I'll be happy. I love running around, tasting wine, doing events, learning, teaching, you name it. I do wish I could travel out of state/out of country more for my job. Currently I travel overnight only once or…

I hope the negative poop monster never comes to my house! Was it like an iceberg that rose up and reattached itself to your body?

I LOVE MY FITBIT ONE! Yes that was me screaming from the rooftops :) I also find mine to be very accurate. It helps keep me accountable. I have found syncing gets wonky sometimes but I with the help of people on the forums here I was able to figure it out.

Irish Harpy- I tried that reset and it did not work. I guess I'll make sure to eat below what fitbit says I burned today! :)

Mine hasn't shown me any love today, so I am glad to know it isn't just me! I have a One, and I didn't see any updates available.

I definitely want to make these for Thanksgiving! They sound wonderful!

I don't think he did, and that's too bad. That link was one that I wish I had never looked at.

I have had a fitbit for a couple of weeks now and it is very motivating- can't hide from it! I got mine from amazon for $87. I've lost 3 lbs in the past 2 weeks so I am stoked!

<moving to Samoa, where I will feel right at home :)

I'm loving mine so far, it's making me really aware of what is going on. I've only had it for a few days though, but just knowing what I've done and what I've burned is helping me to make better choices. Any fitbit users can add me!

You'd love my daughter, she does origami ALL THE TIME! SHe takes her papers in the car and will fold all sorts of things while I'm driving. She has so much patience. I'm jealous!

[/quote] I do prepare healthy foods ahead of time. Last week I made ginger quinoa with vegetables for breakfast (enough for all week and portioned it out in containers to take to work), and brown rice with vegetables and chicken for dinner (again prepared and portioned). Tuna fish was on the menu for lunch with almond…

Very cool! I am about to go on vacation tomorrow, when I get back I want to pick up a couple of new Firm videos to mix it up. I currently rotate my 5 favorites.

only major yardwork- the kind when I have to stop every 15 mins to rehydrate, my heart rate is up and I'm sweating my nonexistent balls off. Living in SC in the summer, mowing my lawn on a hill, yes, that counts. Lopping off branches, hauling them, anything intense gets counted.

funny, I sell wine and beer for a living so that's pretty much a given :)
