I think what people mean about the 15% not Paleo is that you can eat non Paleo foods such as chips, etc without feeling to bad about it because one eats healthy most of the time.

Yes you really need to eat more or your body shuts down losing weight. Try eating a piece of fruit a day if you want fruit. Also if you don't have enough calories at the end of the day then eat a tbl spoon of almond butter or something high calorie.

There is a book called Eat like a Dinosaur..it's an interactive book for Paleo to get kids to eat healthy. I really recommend starting there.

I just realized that diet pepsi is a food trigger. I was fine all day yesterday with my foods until I drank one. I'm guessing it's the aspartame.

I'm doing Paleo..totally gluten free. Even my meat has been grass fed when alive.

I am doing Paleo and I love it. For people who are insensitive to grains it's the perfect way to eat. People that I know who are doing it have excellent blood work numbers. I love Paleo. It's cleared up my skin and made me feel overall happier. I eat alot of unprocessed foods.

I notice that I binge when I am tired so I keep healthy foods just for the occasion. I have no willpower when I am half asleep but having snacks nearby helps.

Hi..the trigger foods that you listed are all high in carbs, except the peanut butter. Maybe there is a pattern? I can't eat anything high in carbs, even fruit. It sucks but it is what it is. Have you researched carb intolerance? Interesting stuff what carbs will do to the body.

Try looking at Primal..is Paleo with the dairy.

Try eating something snackish, like an apple or hard boiled egg.

I love Paleo. It takes a while to get used to. Definitely alot of planning ahead and research but once you get in the mode it's worth it. It's the exact opposite way of eating than what you see in the supermarkets. No packaged anything, etc. If you have a grain issue it's the way to go.
