Keto or paleo? Decisions, decisions.

Lindsey here,
I've been doing the brazil butt lift videos for the past 4 weeks and haven't seen the fat come off quite yet, but I am seeing nicer muscle tone. This week I decided to cut back on my drinking and finally doing a diet change. I've been doing paleo, but am thinking I may like keto more. It allows dairy and I don't have the digestive issues people blame dairy for.
I was wondering if anyone had success on either of these programs or any tips for a newcomer. I'm trying to lose 20 lbs.

How about following a sensible diet & maintaining a calorie defect?0

I never crave sweets and I love eating fatty foods so Keto is perfect for me. With vitamin supplementation and counting calories, I find it to be perfectly sensible diet based on huge amounts of medical research. The numerous health benefits are well documented. Don't listen to the carb addicted haters. Haters gonna hate.0

I do Primal but I'm pretty casual about it. I basically just removed grain from my diet with the exception of some quinoa because it's a complete protein and easy to bake with. I don't really count carbs much...I still eat lots of berries and other fruits. I drink some milk, but mostly stick to yogurt and cheese. Nuts, seeds, eggs, and berries make up a lot of my diet. I do eat meat for dinner, chicken/beef/fish. I just keep it easy and relaxed and I'm losing just fine.0

" The diet mimics aspects of starvation by forcing the body to burn fats rather than carbohydrates"
"The ketogenic diet is a mainstream, nonpharmacologic therapy that was developed to reproduce the success and remove the limitations of the non-mainstream use of fasting to treat epilepsy.[Note 2] Although popular in the 1920s and 30s, it was largely abandoned in favour of new anticonvulsant drugs."

If what wiki says is true and your diet is based on starving epileptic children, and was replaced with a anticonvulsant drug, I suggest find a different one.0 -
This is what I've been doing. I cut out processed food sources, except my addiction diet soda. I've noticed I'm not as bloated and don't have to dance into my pants! Some of the message boards on keto/paleo are super intense. Nice to meet a more casual approach.0

Well I haven't felt starved since I started even though I'm usually maintaining a deficit. I've never been more full.0

medically not healthy, make sure you do your FULL research0
