My useless talents are that I can touch my elbows behind my back, wiggle my eyes and my thumbs are double jointed.

I <3 mine too.

I've recently discovered flavoured vodka + water. My bf thinks it is disgusting but I like it.

I agree. From what you have told us, I would go seek a second opinion. He doesn't sound helpful at all!

I like the ifitness app for the iOS. It has a good collection of exercises and you can narrow down by equipment, create routines and track progress. It includes videos on each exercise as well. I think it is currently on sale for $0.99. I also work out at home with a limited collection of weights. Most of my routine…

There is an excellent post on bodybuilding.com about calculating your macros. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121703981 I found a spreadsheet last night that did the calculations for you, but I can't seem to find it now. My calculations and the spreadsheet put me at about 40/40/20. I'm also eating ~1200 and…

I'm 5'2 and trying to be more active. Ideally I'd like to drop about 15 lbs :D Anyone feel free to add me, looking for buddies with similar goals.

This. Like I said, I'm not counting that 15 minute mid-week vacuum, or a single load of laundry but for big cleans I work harder to turn it into a good workout.
-
I do not count day to day cleaning/tidying. However I do count my bigger cleans that I do once a week. These typically last 1-3 hours, I pump the tunes, dance around and work fast. It is definitely a workout.

Request sent :D

Me too! I was left with a lot of questions but I really enjoyed it. 4/5.

Story of my life. It is very rare that I'll find jeans that fit in the waist and the leg. I bought a cheaper sewing machine and learned how to do my own hemming.

Trix cereal. I haven't had it since I was a kid, yummy :)

IMO I don't think it'll make a huge different if you stay within your calories/macros. I don't limit myself eating clean, it just isn't sustainable for me. To keep myself from falling off the wagon I find I need to fit in some pizza and cheeseburgers on occasion. You just have to watch out, those "bad" calories add up fast!

Another Star Wars geek here! While the originals are my favourite, I don't mind the new ones - it all adds to the story. Never got into BSG but I don't mind some of the Star Trek movies - especially the most recent which I thought was fantastic. I'm also a huge Aliens fan, and just watched Prometheus last weekend which I…

I'm a cheese nut too, I could easily eat my daily calorie allowance in cheese. Laughing cow is great.. I am also newly in love with cottage cheese, I can't believe I thought it was gross before, add some pepper and green onions...sooooo good!

No :( But I think BigOven does with subscription.

Spark Recipes and Whole Foods. Both contain nutritional info per recipe. I also just downloaded NTC (Nike Training Club) it's free and I haven't really put it to use yet but it looks promising. Various workouts with pics and video.

I'd opt for stopping at a fast food Japanese restaurant that serves sushi. :) Many grocery stores in my area sell sushi that is fairly decent.

Check out youtube :)

I'm in the same boat, as a freelance graphic/web designer I spend up to 10 hours a day in front of a computer. I generally contract in-house to clients, so I also generally have a 30-45 minute commute that sucks out any energy I have left at the end of the day. I love my job, but this sedentary lifestyle is driving me…

There are tons of free workout videos on YouTube.

I guess it depends on the type of house work... I like to dance and do housework. :P I say if you work up a good sweat, count it. If not, don't.

I couldn't agree more! I think this is so important.

My sister suffered from really bad migraines since she was a teen. She went to doctors, specialists, holistic specialists and no one could figure out what was wrong or help her. She cut aspartame out of her diet completely, and guess what.... no more migraines.

I'm currently doing the 30 day Shred and so far so good. Try searching you tube for workout videos, I did this when I first started to figure out what I liked. There are tons of work out videos online for free, plus you can even preview most workout videos on there as well (including the 30 day Shred).

For me, I knew it was important to get into the habit of working out first. last week, I started out doing 10 minute daily workouts (here is a good 10 minute cardio workout: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlX_Gy4HP2E). I did this for a week before I tried the 30 day shred. I do think this helped, because like you I never…

Day 2 Here! I love it, even though I'm getting my butt kicked. Fav part is the jump rope, I can feel that burn. Less favourite part is the push ups but I've always hated push ups.
