So this is the first office job I've ever had. I've worked here for almost 2 years now, and I hate it. I feel so lazy when I get off work. It's like I've been sitting all day and all I want to do is go home and sit some more! I have to quite literally force myself to go workout. After my workout, I'm back to my normal energetic self and actually get a lot done after I work out! But it's just SOOOOOOO hard to make myself go work out after work. Some people have told me to work out before work but I have tried, and successfully failed. I am not a morning person even a tiny bit and I love my sleep. I usually wake up with just enough time to shower, have my morning protein shake, and pack a lunch. I have tried so many things and I just don't know how to get more motivated after work.... I wish I still had my job at the factory, I was moving and working then and always had so much energy after work!!!

I am totally in the same situation and I have been ok with diet but HORRIBLE with getting my cardio in so I started going for power walks and runs on lunch and I found a staircase thats empty so I run stairs for about 10 minutes. Can you workout during a 30min lunch?

I actually could because we have a gym at work with treadmills and ellipticals, an I tried it for a few days but I sweat REALLY easy, and felt very uncomfortable sitting at my desk afterwards :(

I'm in the same boat, as a freelance graphic/web designer I spend up to 10 hours a day in front of a computer. I generally contract in-house to clients, so I also generally have a 30-45 minute commute that sucks out any energy I have left at the end of the day.

I love my job, but this sedentary lifestyle is driving me mental.

I just got back on my health kick and determine to get in shape and shed some pounds. I'm trying to move around a lot more at the office, going for mini walks, stretching every hour or so, that sort of thing. And whatever I do, I have to resist the junk food machine that calls to me in the afternoon.
