  • Just requested to join the group. I will be 33 in less than a month. I'm down 39 pounds so far, actually been maintaining for over a year. I still have about 80-90 to go depending on how I feel as I get closer to my goal.
  • My friends made fun of the way my jeans and belt bunch up because I'm too cheap to replace my too big jeans just yet. I hadn't realized how big they had gotten until Saturday night though.
  • Not exactly. I hope to learn healthier habits so that I can continue on with my life without a fear of turning back. Of course, I'm not to the end of my weight loss by any means either. As I've seen others say, I'll watch the scale, and if I see numbers going up, I'll track religiously again to see where I'm going wrong.
  • I have one goal this week. Do not get behind on my workout schedule. I got behind twice last week. I did manage to get my workouts all in, and lost some weight, but I'd rather keep them on the day they are supposed to be on, instead of 2 or 3 at a time.
  • I think you get alpha and beta in one, and then gamma is separate
  • -The shoes in the living room (oh I hate shoes in the living room) have to be paired and lined up largest to smallest. I've noticed that my 2 year old does this on his own now, so maybe it's time I stop that. -We sell collegiate stuff at work, and I can't stand for the teams to be mixed up, even though it's the same style…
  • It's been about 15 years since I had my wisdom teeth out, and I had all 4 cut out at the same time. I don't remember taking a whole week off solid foods though. I remember not being able to use a straw for a little while because of the stitches though. But just because you can't chew it, doesn't mean you can't eat. Go for…
  • I burned about 900 doing Combat 60 on Monday at fit club. Of course, I'm over 200 pounds still and working really hard. I swear I look like I've been swimming when I'm done with that one.
  • Yes I do. I don't with my oldest anymore cause he's finally learned to stay right next to me. But the youngest is 2, and he screams if you stop the stroller/cart. He loves the leash. He picked it out himself, and wants to wear it all the time. I don't do it to keep from holding his hand, I do it to keep from having a…
  • I'm starting to wonder if that's part of my problem. I've hovered around the same weight since my doctor upped my dose of my antidepressant. And I'm working out harder than I was before for that very reason. I'm gonna talk to about it when I go in again, to see if there's another option for me.
  • The only thing I can think of that I don't log would be gum. I used to log it, but I've just kind of quit logging it. I chew sugar free so I can't be hurting myself too much. Other than that, I log every single thing, even the one jelly bean that my oldest shared with me.
  • I do a lot with the beachbody ones. I go to a local fit club, and we use P90X, Focus T25, Combat, Les Mills Pump, etc. I just ordered my first beachbody workout of my own, and it will be here this week. I'll be starting Hip Hop Abs soon. I also use videos from my cable on demand menu, and even some Richard Simmons.
  • I'm not gonna lie. I jump on the scale at least once a day. Usually first thing in the am right after the bathroom. Sometimes it's more, just because I'm curious of how different things effect my body. I usually log it ever 3-4 days. I try to only make an official weigh in on Tuesday mornings, and then leave the scale…
  • I work in retail in a local mall. My goal is to make it through this stressful shopping season without binge eating to deal with extra stress, and not gaining any weight before the end of the year. I will be happy with any weight lost.
  • I would love to get back to around an 8-10. That's where I was when I moved off to college before I started to party and have kiddos. I wouldn't want to be smaller than that, it just doesn't look good on me.
  • None at the moment. There are freezer pops for the kids though.
  • That's wonderful. A belt has just about been my best investment during my journey to keep that kind of thing from happening. Keep up the good work.
  • I'm 5'4.5" around 235 pounds right now. I'm down to a size 18, started around 273 in a size 24.
  • Finished. And wow did that feel good.
  • That is wonderful. We've started incorporating T25 into our local fit club, and I love what I've done so far. I'm saving up my money for Les Mills Combat first, but then I'm saving for T25 next.
  • We do T25 Tuesdays at the fit club I go to, and I love it. I know I'm getting a better workout than spending an hour doing a different program. After doing lower focus the first time, I couldn't get onto my bar stool type chair at work for 2 days....it was so worth it.
  • That's wonderful! Keep up the good work. Make that next visit a free one.
  • Use the recipe tool. It is wonderful. You put in all your ingredients and how many servings it makes. Then you get one serving for yourself, and it's all figured out for you. I have tons of recipes saved, and then I just adjust my recipe if I make it different than normal. I refuse to cook separate meals for my family and…
  • Depends on my mood, but I keep single serving oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and eggs (or egg substitute) around the house almost all the time. They all make a good meal or snack any time for me.
  • I tend to weigh everything separately. I'm not sure that it would make much if any difference with lettuce, but I do it anyway. Some people don't even log things like lettuce because they are so low calorie. I'm working my diary right now that if it passes my lips it is to be logged, even if it's just one bite. I tend to…
  • It honestly depends on how good of a sale I find. For my family of 4, we receive about $600 a month in food stamps. I have a feeling that's about to go down. But I can feed us on about $20 a week if I shop really well, and I'm really careful.
  • Personally, I have found either buying things in snack sized containers, or imediately separating things into single servings has helped me. That way, I can grab a serving of something, and when it's gone I don't have any more. It's like I can trick myself into thinking that I ate all of whatever it was that I have in the…
  • I have to say that it sounds like you're doing a great job so far. You've lost 7 pounds in a month, and that's something to be very proud of. I haven't looked at your diary, but I can give you a little advice from my own experience. Watch the processed food because it's full of sodium. Also make sure you're drinking plenty…
