Feel free to add me! I am also a WFPB, trying to be no oil as well but that stuff sneaks in everywhere! Starting to log daily again, and reading "The Starch Solution" for motivation.

What a pleasant read, and congratulations on making this life altering change to your point of view. I totally agree with everything you said, especially the still enjoying booze, haha

That's an awesome start! Just keep at it, log everything and I'm sure we will both reach our goals. Feel free to add me! I practice 1200 calories a day, as well as intermittent fasting. So far 7 lbs. down in 18 days, so feeling pretty great.

Thank you for sharing! Great work! I love that your motivation was health reasons, that's my motivation too. How have your symptoms improved? Feel free to add

I'll write them for you.... Step 1 - take care of yourself, physically, and emotionally. Step 2 - refer back to step one. Self care is just so important. So many people, especially moms/women tend to put themselves last on the roster. Time for me, and hopefully a lot of ladies and gentlemen to change that. <3

Thanks for all the adds! SO happy! I am fairly active on MFP - logging in daily basically to update my status and keep accountable. It's the first day of week 2 for me and 3.4 lbs. down  Please feel free to add, and really, don't be shy. If I've learned anything through MFP it's the importance of getting out of…

I used to live in Ontario, Belleville. Now in Alberta - and I can't say I miss those Ontario winters.

Day 2..... here we go! Totally doable. I have a tall bottle of water on my desk, and a full belly with decent breakfast and I've had my morning coffee. Are there any programs you all are following? Or just eating better in general? For me, I have found the best way to stay encouraged about nutrition is to not just focus on…

This is really strange! I don't track via a tracker. But simple calculation shows walking 3K should burn about 200-250 calories (averaging 18.5 minutes/km) with a variance for your body weight. Sounds like your walking might be tracked as something else, perhaps it's counting it as crossfit, or running at a higher pace?…

My scale will always have the first measurement be at least 2 lbs. higher than the 2nd measurement. I think because it's cold on my bedroom floor where I keep it. So I routinely weigh myself 3 times. If the last 2 times match then that's the weight I record, it usually matches but now it's a habit to do it 3 times, lol.

I'll send you an add - accountability is a great thing, and you've taken the most important step by joining MFP!

I just happened upon this post and love it! Great job putting into words what so many of us think and feel. I'm sending you an add, thanks for the post!
-
Feel free to add me! Always looking for new friends on here :)

Amazing! Great work! Thanks for sharing, I remember college was a huge trigger for me too - freshman 15, turned into 50. Live and learn, glad you figured out the dairy thing, I'll keep that in mind too!

Hi there! I am thinking of starting a Healthy Wage too! Did you end up joining?

LOL! I LOVE this thread! I try to post small victories on my MFP wall daily. My nutritionist told me to stop focusing on the small failures, and focus on the small successes because they add up. So here I am, saying Yay me! I found an awesome inspiring thread that will keep me on target for the rest of the day! Feel free…

I'll add you! I try and post every day, and log every day... and darn it, it's exhausting but the virtual friends I have on here are REALLY great at motivating.

Wow! Thanks for the replies everyone, I'm looking forward to zoodling, lol

I'll add you! I've been on a pretty good streak but couldn't we all use more friends? We got this! :D

I'm starting over as well, more like a "reboot". I'll add you! I am trying to post daily, and with the advice of my nutritionist I'm trying to focus on the positives. Catch you on the flip side!

I came for the pictures but your message is beautiful. Thanks for sharing, especially the tips about MFP. Truly inspirational!

I feel the same way, before I couldn't easily tell the difference between a good cup of coffee and a bad one because it was loaded in sugar and cream so every coffee taste good. Now I actually enjoy the coffee, mmm... lol I think I have a new addiction, haha
-
Wow you guys! I wish MFP had a "like" button because there's so much great positive stuff here! I love it when you notice clothes fit differently, that's always an awesome little success  And I love the dropping of the sugar, isn't it amazing how much sugar we use in silly things? Actually label reading is a big one…

Hi there! Feel free to add me, I still don't know what I'm doing but we're all in this together, lol

Wonderful! Wow! You look amazing! Congratulations Girl, you are an inspiration :)

I love this post! I dropped 20 lbs last year and didn't go down a size at all. I think because I was squeezing into and refusing to buy a bigger size, lol

A nice clean supportive community... this coming from a guy whose name comes up as "delicious coc" unless you scroll over his name, has "Punisher" (Marvel fans will get the joke) all over his page oh and quotes Winston Churchill as skipping out on paying prostitutes, lol. I hope you were being ironic.

LMAO! Kids are so hilarious! Oh my goodness, I'm at work trying not to LOL but you guys are really giving me the giggles. I'm glad my kids aren't the only ones who love me till it hurts, haha
