I stopped eating sweets for like 3 months......the cravings NEVER went away.......I really wish they did!

I put 1 teaspoon of sugar and mix it in 1/2 cup cottage cheese. YUMMY
-
Great job!!!
-
I'm no expert, but I ignore the sugar.......and do just fine. I watch calories, carbs and fat mostly.

How low calorie? Turkey wraps to me, are pretty low cal.
-
I fell off for 3 weeks, but somehow I haven't gained anything! Starting back hard today!

I have been taking thyroid meds since I was 16 and I have always had an intolerance to hot and cold. Sometimes I can't get warm and sometimes if I get even a little overheated I feel terribly ill.
-
I would love to try ZUMBA!!!!
-
I'd say half......

There is a lot of support here. I have been on MFP a little over 3 months and it has helped tremendously.
-
That's great!!!! I am at 210 and can't jog at 5 mph for more than 40 seconds!!! And like someone said before me, I hope you DID invite her to MFP!!!! Truly inspiring!

1880 is definitely a good number for a guy...especially an active one.
-
I sometimes, if calories allow, have just a small bag of prepackaged chips...usually around 160 calories, satisfies the craving but you don't eat too many!
-
I go day by day but I don't think it would hurt to count calories by the week.
-
This exactly for me too! Can't help it!!
-
I started out basically just MAKING myself ride my bike for 10 minutes, after a few days I pushed myself to go a bit longer and then longer......sometimes it's still tough, but It takes like 21 days to make a habit? After while you can't go without doing it. Hang in there!
-
On MFP you can eat back exercise calories....on those other sites, they probably mean for you to eat that amount and not even count exercise.
-
I think im going to do this too Eat at maintenance that is...for a few weeks. I've basically been stalled for a month
-
Such an inspiration great job!!!!

Sometimes I feel awkward, I'm not huge but have at least 50 pounds to go, but I find it funnier when the young girls are there on the elliptical and texting on their phone at the same time.
-
I too have started gaining...not a bunch, but a couple pounds since I have been strength training.......I am not losing inches though so I also wonder what the heck is going on.
-
I used to drink NOTHING but diet soda.....now I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day and limit myself to no more than 1 can of soda a day. I don't know if it has helped in my weight loss, but I sure do feel TONS better.
-
I have seen no loss in that area....only around my shoulders where I have to tighten the straps UGH I'm a 38 DDD
-
Last year I was at 248 at 31 years old.......YIKES
-

So my TDEE is 2300 and my BMR is 1740...what should I be eating? I started at 1200 and lost 18 pounds then stalled.....upped it to 1400 and lost about 4 and am stalled again. IDK WHAT I SHOULD BE ATING
-
yes, I agree, adding cheese and peanut butter to some of your meals would add up calories quickly
-
Great Job!!!! I hope to have results similar!
-
I am a DDD............haven't lost it there yet
