I finished X3 about 45 days ago. I ended up liking it a lot. You will have a better time once you get the moves down. I would like to start another round this fall. It's a good mix of a lot of different forms of training.

I agree that what you eat is the key for weight loss. Exercise of any kind can only help.

I like to mix my cardio with weights. I jump on the treadmill for a few minutes, get my heart rate up, then hop off and do some lifts. Then get back on the treadmill for a few, then weights again. Then I finish with a 8-12 minute run. Otherwise I would suggest starting with weights and finishing with the cardio.

Tooth pain can be horrible, This coming from a guy who passed a 5mm kidney stone. Get your tooth fixed, as it seems you already are. Then you can focus on other things. The stress of the tooth pain will make things hard by itself. One step at a time, you will get where you want to be.

I have been doing Insanity for almost 3 months, I do it 3 days a week, so it is going to take me twice as long to do. I like it as a change of pace from my normal cardio days. I don't see a problem with changing the schedule to fit your preferences.

I started out using a Timex T5G951. It lasted 6 months and stopped working. It didn't surprise me since it was like $20. I now use a Garmin FR60 which I got on clearance from Best Buy for $80. Didn't think of that. Thanks. I think I just need to focus more on where I'm getting my calories from. Especially on days where I am looking to do an intense workout. Maybe that will help my feeling weak during workouts.
