Insanity and other workouts

Okay, I have question for other people who have done Insanity. I'm thinking about starting on Monday but not sure if I want to stick with the schedule. My thoughts are to do Insanity every other day and go to the gym and do other workouts the days in between.

Would this be okay or should I just stick with the schedule that comes with Insanity?

    I have been doing Insanity for almost 3 months, I do it 3 days a week, so it is going to take me twice as long to do. I like it as a change of pace from my normal cardio days. I don't see a problem with changing the schedule to fit your preferences.
