Thanks for that idea. If I buy the same brand, that should work really well! For what it's worth, the ice cream I usually buy does NOT have serving size in grams so I've always struggled with a serving size of ice cream as well, trying not to pack too much.

5'0.5" (and we all know that 1/2 inch matters!) HW: 145 CW: 125 My lowest weight in recent years with MFP was 118 but I gained that back. My goal weight is 115. My ultimate goal weight is 105. Fellow shorties, add me as friend if you'd like!

Have to watch this thread. I never used to evening binge but it started recently. Sometimes I just want to sleep right after dinner so I can avoid eating.

Thanks for all your help! Exactly, I've heard amazing things about New Rules so I think I'll check that out first. Glad to know it's not "out-of-date". I think I'll borrow Strong Curves from the library and decide later if I want to own it.

lower fat PB -- might as well eat the real thing.

I think you've done a good job recognizing that you don't feel good afterwards and that maybe you didn't want that pizza after all. We all have "slip ups". The next time you feel like eating a whole pizza, think about how you are feeling right now.

I know what you mean -- it's hard not to know what I'm eating. Sometimes you can tell what is more healthy but you still don't know how many calories it is. It's also really hard when I go for a Chinese meal where we get 8 (!) different kinds of dishes to share and I have to keep track of everything. But I just try really…

Definitely my stomach and my thighs... well, actually it feels like all over (arms :P), but yeah, my tummy is my biggest area.

Thanks, I signed up to do a 5K but I want to do JMBR too so this is encouraging :)

Student here too! And I'm totally guilty of snacking too. First question you have to ask is if you are actually hungry. If you're just stressed and want to NOM on anything, but not hungry, chew gum or drink tea. I also find stress toys actually helpful! You know, those squeezy kinds. If you feel you are actually hungry,…

Hey! Yes, it DOES make a difference! I am 5'1" and my highest ever was around 140-145. Now I am usually 120, getting to 118 on a good day and it makes a difference when you look at pictures. Unfortunately I don't have good pictures to show online but trust me, it does make a difference.

Yep, I agree with the rinsing out the sweat. I might use a little conditioner for the "smell." You asked earlier about brands to try for dry shampoos. I've only used Batiste but I haven't had a problem with it -- I think it makes my hair look even better!

How are you guys getting through Level 2? I am so exhausted! My shoulders also hurt--I'm afraid I'm not using good form on my planks. Should my arms be straight down from my shoulders? I tend to lean into them...

bump - looks delish.

I've only been at this for a month and I feel the opposite now: I see the pounds going down one a week, more or less, and no loss in my measurements! I feel really bad because people put more value in the measurements and it's probably true. I admit I haven't been working out as much (2 times a week), but I've been…

I'm so happy to find so many people my height! I'm 5'0.5" (soo close to 5'1"). I just started at MFP and my current weight is ~132 or so, fluctuate from 131 to 135 :/ My first goal weight is 120. Then maybe 115.
