Oh my Gosh! I was at this pancake house yesterday and they had the BEST buckwheat pancakes! They were delish--hearty but still fluffy at the same time, and they had a little spice to them...something similar to a pumpkin pie-type spice or something. Maybe nutmeg with a hint of cinnamon??? Oh...they were so good! Anyhoo, I…

No disclaimer needed  I look forward to seeing what a primal/paleo regimen actually looks like! I've always wanted to try the primal/paleo eating...I'd love to get the processed "food" (aka, crap!) out of my house, but at this point, my husband won't allow it! LOL!!! To each their own, I suppose!…

Here's what I would do if I were you...I did a little math based on your burns and came up with an average daily TDEE based on a "normal" week, which is what I assume you're referencing in your post... It's pretty nice that you have a Fitbit so you know what your daily burns generally are... So, if I use the low end of…

I love Cathe Friedrich DVDs...most of the one's I have just use a bench and dumbbells/a barbell. I LOVE all of the ones I have  If you go to her website and browse her DVDs, it will tell you what equipment you need for each DVD. Strength training (and lifting heavy, for that matter!) is what you need to do to get…

Regardless of whether you want to bulk or cut, just work those legs!!! I personally would work them on cut first, just because, for me, I've got PLENTY of jiggle to get rid of. LOL!

Thanks for the input, ladies, I really appreciate it. I checked out one of the IMAX DVDs last night...it looks tough, but I bet I could get the hang of it...:ohwell: I didn't think I would like step aerobics (seemed kind of 1985 old lady-ish to me, LOL), but I actually REALLY much prefer them to hanging out on the…

Thanks, tbellamy :flowerforyou: Might pick up the Gym Style Back one. If I get the GS Back, should I also get chest and tri's? Or can I get one without the other? I tried a Cathe circuit DVD last night (it came with my high step), and let's just say it wasn't my favorite. It seemed too easy, and I guess I'm not really a…

Great post!!! Awesome NSV! :flowerforyou: I am right with you on finally feeling good in my "own skin"...I also realized this the other day...I'm happy with where I'm at, and know that if I continue on my current path, I will only continue to improve! In my opinion, Muscle Max is a great beginner Cathe DVD  I'm a noob with Cathe, and I thought it was a great intro to all things "Cathe"!!!

Hahaha! I do the same thing  My son loves to bake things (especially banana bread or other variations of it), so probably once a week I bring in some sort of loaf or bar or cookie...I can NOT keep them in my house, or I will eat them ALL!!! So I ask for the help of my co-workers, and they happily oblige :drinker:
