I love pre-logging. It's handy to have a plan for each day but it's also a powerful tool of disuasion to stop yourself eating something that's not in budget.

I don't log food on fitbit because I find the database too laborious. I log on MFP and then just input the total number of calories into fitbit at the end of the day.

I'm the same as you. I weigh and log on fitbit every day and record once a week, on Friday, on MFP. I like to see the overall trend in fitbit.

We mostly eat the same things but I'll have more salad or veggies than my husband and kids. I use the recipe builder a lot, as described above and weigh the finished product to work out my portion before I start serving up.

As someone said above, this must be a US thing, because I don't think we have flavoured coffee creamer in the UK (although I have been offered regular cream before). I weigh every day and track it in my fitbit app which shows an overall trend. That way I don't get hung up on going up a few pounds overnight around ovulation and when I'm due on as I can see an overall downward trend.

I'm nearly 43 and looking to lose another 40ish pounds. I'm not doing much in the way of exercise but I log everything I eat and my diary is open to all. Send a friend request if you like (I'd send one but I can't work out how to do it on the android app!)
