Driving over a cigerette that is tossed out a car window. I brace myself for my car to explode..

Box of Kleenex.. Looks like I can wipe up any blood I draw was the same "weapon" :)

You can try adding extra Vitamin B12 pill in the morning and make sure you get enough carbs and protein to aid recovery.

I had lasik, my advice is to sleep as much as you can, as soon as you can after the surgery. recovery was quick for me. but the 2nd time (I needed a touch-up) I didn't get to bed before the pain drops wore off and it was uncomfortable. I'm glad i did it, being able to see without glasses and contacts is a gawd-send. And,…

I love this thread - a lot of great and unusual names! Mine's Judy.. Probably a few others other there, but not likely to be my age..I have always hated the name, but I cannot figure out what to have it changed to..

I'm 5'9" and love Victoria Secret jeans.. I buy the really long ones (I'm "leggy" to start with) and add heels :) In general, I'm the tallest of my friends too

I think it would be soo great to have that kind of influence... a steady running partner would do wonders for me :)

balsamic vinegar and salsa are both strong flavors and mix well with veggies and grains

Oh, I'd like to know what people say too..

Oh, they are fun and don't worry about keeping a consistant pace, the courses are crowded, and you'll wait at some obstacles. Make sure you're comfortable running/walking the distance though. Upper body strength and balance will help.. Run a balance beam and climb the monkey bars (Do pull-ups) if you can. The race is so…

sounds great..

I'd love to jump rope more, I find it easy and fun. But, the pain in my calves for the next 3 days so too much to bear. Even 5-10 minutes of jumping leaves me hurting for days.

I make an egg bake (eggs, egg white, milk, cheese, mushrooms, ham or sausage, favorite veggies) and bake in muffin tins (lined with the silver cupcake liners). The crustless "mini quiches" keep well in the freezer (for a week or so) and only take a minute in the microwave to reheat.. I'm not a morning person either :)

Fully agree.

you may be building more muscle and burning more calories.. so your body needs to take in more protein, carbs and healthly fats. Talk to your trainer about your caloric needs.

I have a 100th aniversary Harley Sportster 883.. I don't ride it much now that I've moved to Virginia, but it was a fun while I did. I seem to have replaced it was a Fuji road bike for cycling; it doesn't go as fast, but its better exercise.

I pesonally have a chai tea latte (caffeine, sugar and protein) before I run in the morning. If I run without having something, I feel hungry and lack energy. I also grab a 90-120 calorie cereal bar if I'm not running until mid-morning. But, it is an individual preference and will be impacted by how far you are running as…

Just wondering how you're doing with this. I'm another week in, and I haven't had a diet soda, so about 2 weeks now. I still completely hate it when I hear someone in the office open up a can.

My friend gave up diet soda months ago, and he says he feels so much better. I've given it up before for months at a time, but never felt any improvement in my health, tastebuds or ablitly to lose a pound or two. I wish some universities would do more research on the impacts of the chemicals and sweetners in diet sodas. I…

I'm trying to give up the diet soda a day habit too. I haven't had a soda in a week. The worse is when a co-worker opens one in the office in the middle of the afternoon. I wish you a lot of luck and let me know if you find The Secret to Success on this!
