Hmmm...I might take barefoot with the windows open over the horse...tough one there...

You guys have guns, boots and cowboy hats, but do you have the horses to go with them? You know in Texas we have to have horses to get around ;)

I can totally sympathize. Went to a wedding Saturday night, drank WAY too much, ate plenty, and then on the way home we stopped for breakfast burritos at Whataburger. Ugh. I am kind of disgusted with myself and have to face the music on the scale today. Back on track we go though...

Howdy Fort Worth--now I'll be singing the George Strait song all day long :)

Right back atcha--loving the rain today, no need to do the multiple flush for Dallas on a day like today!

Dallas, TX--look at all these other Texans on here...

I'm going to a center--so far I've been pretty happy--no one there is overweight--2 of them are also personal trainers. I'm liking the food--I have zero ability to cook, so have no interest in looking at recipes or some of the meal planning that comes with Weight Watchers. Also, it truly is great to be able to pack some…

Just wondering if anyone else is doing Jenny Craig, and how that is working. I have been on it for 3 weeks now, and it is quite expensive, but I do like the food and the fact that I don't have to "think" about portions, menu planning etc. It is convenient, and there are non-frozen foods that I can take with me when I…

Kelly--a great site so long as you remain honest to logging your calories. It is really easy for me to conveniently "forget" what I eat during the day, and now I feel like I have some accountability, which really helps. I've been very happy with the site, and having the opportunity to really see in writing what I put in my…

I did that after I broke my foot/pelvis that caused the weight gain that brought me here. I would be hungry, so someone would bring me a bag of this or a bag of that, and they'd think I'd stop when I was done. Instead I had several times where I ate a whole can of Pringles or a jar of peanuts or whatever...didn't matter.…

I travel all the time, so I can appreciate how hard it is to accommodate a diet while on the road. And if I've gone off track, it is hard to get back on--it is like you get a taste of the "good stuff" and you can't let it go easily. It's an addiction! So stop feeding the addiction, literally, and focus on how much better…

It largely depends on what your goals are--weight loss, toning, strength training, etc. A personal trainer often isn't a bad idea if you can get one for a couple of sessions at least, they can help you formulate your goals and put together a program that is right for you. If not, I can say that I try to focus on a circuit…

I've had plenty of falling off since starting this process--I think it is just bound to happen at some point, and the difference is whether or not you get back on and keep working at it or just give up. Sounds to me like you have the right mentality for not giving up--and good for you. Keep up the great work, and don't…

I have 2 dogs (St.Bernard mix and schnauzer mix); 3 cats; a guinea pig, a thoroughbred and a pony. Oh, and fish. Definitely as someone said--it makes your life messy, but they are all so much fun!

Enell No-bounce Bra. It is the greatest bra I've ever used, and I'm a D.

Thanks everyone! I'm really excited about this website, and truly motivated to lose the weight!

Hi! I have found my way to this site via a Jenny Craig consultant. I have always struggled with my weight somewhat, but have always been extremely active and could manage it through activity. However, last September I fell off my horse and broke my foot in two places and fractured my pelvis, and was non weight bearing for…
