Use a cooking scale! You can easily measure exactly how much you use.

Probably because MFP has stringent rules on profanity. People have to ******** out some weird words just to be safe, such as "P****-footing around", or "Charles D***ens".

Hey now, maybe they didn't get up early to do their makeup. Maybe they're just getting off of a long night

Looking healthy is more about body composition than weight. If you focus only on weight... you can be a fat 120 lbs or a fit, muscular 120 lbs and you'd look vastly different.
-
If you lift, you're going to increase in size. Not drastically, but you will. I noticed the same thing when I lifted regularly.

My husband douses his scrambled eggs in cayanne pepper. Not for health benefits. I think he's mentally unhinged.

I was alone for Thanksgiving, so I decided what the hell ... I'll fast for a day. It was miserable. I don't recommend it.

You need to use the MFP settings to determine what YOU actually burn per day. Go to "My Home" then to "goals" and imput your height, weight, activity level, etc.

Calorie deficit is the "negative" calories that lead to weight loss. You need to find out how many calories your body burns per day. MFP can help you do that, and there are several calculators online. Net calories means the calories you've eaten minus the ones you've burned through exercise. If you burn, say, 1800 calories…

Age: 22 Current weight: ~150 Goal weight: 140 The most I ever weighted was 167. That was when I was lifting regularly and was really buff, but also had some fat. Just trying to get rid of the fat :P

Lamb is great paired with rosemary and garlic. It's also good plain. It has a stronger taste than beef does, IMO, and it is my favorite meat :) I am a bit jealous - you get to try out meat for the first time ever! :D

Turkey and onions, fried up in butter ... Or fruit.

Use full fat ingredients. Add an extra egg. When I made a chocolate cake for my husband's birthday, I used cream instead of milk and I doubled the cocoa. It really depends on what sort of taste you're going for. I never found Walmart's cakes to be very good.

Even if you're not 5% BF ... if you're a long distance runner then you won't have a lot of muscle but you should have definition. I was on the track team and I saw lots of skinny long distance runners all the time. No fat, not much muscle, but you could see all of it. If you bulk up you will gain weight. I don't know if…

My yoga instructor was a lovely, patient, totally cute woman in her 30's. I'm a girl and was not really "into" her, but all the guys in my class were far too happy to be there every day

Lovely, classic bone structure! Hehe that's @awesomeOne :P You have a great smile!

I don't think you gained 10 lbs of fat. You may have gained a little, but I bet most of it is water weight caused by retention and stress and maybe sodium. To gain 10 lbs of fat, you'd have to eat an extra 35,000 calories. It sounds like you ate really healthy food the whole time - wow! That's a hard thing to do on…

I have them on my hips and breasts from growing too fast as a young whippersnapper. And now that I'm losing weight, the ones on my breasts are getting loose and look terrible.

5'10 HW: 167 CW: 149? Don't have a scale >:( GW: 135 Add me if we're twins! I can't find anyone else who is similar :(

I use engine oil for its lovely smell. When making a stir fry, I pour it directly onto the propane stove. Seems to cook faster, and the clouds of smoke add a nice atmosphere to the house! Way easier than PAINTING the kitchen black!

They are never consistent for me. I have a range of 500 calories where my net usually falls. Edit: range, not rage!

Or they just tell you "Oh, you're so tall you should be a model!" No, I'm not 30 lbs underweight, I can't be! I feel like, if you're short, you can be short and "round" and cute OR short and thin and cute, and if you're tall you can be thin and cute but you cannot be tall, big, and cute. You're just a big cow, then. It's…

At my college, we did pushups as a matter of discipline and motivation (military college) and the freshmen were led in doing pushups by one of the upperclassmen. When I was a freshman, one of our upperclassmen was injured. Instead of doing the pushups with us, he got in position on one arm, the other in a sling (he tore…

I'll give it a go!

5'10" Originally, I had a : 41" Bust 29" Waist 41"Hips Now, after losing ~15 lbs, I'm down to 38" Bust 28" waist 39" Hips So If I get down to my goal weight it looks like I"ll become a "ruler" but at the moment I'm still hourglass :)

So you were 300 calories over for that day. But you were 5-600 calories under for the two days before it. You're still at a calorie deficit. I don't see what you're worried about? ?? Not trying to be rude! Just asking!

A good boy! Who looks like a good boy? You look like a good boy! You look like a dog who wants to go for a run!

I just log it as a vegetable because that's way healthier. It tricks your body into treating it like salad!

Hi, I'm in Germany too! Up north in cold, rainy Hamburg. Please add me if you want!
