  • Welcome. My understanding is as long as you eat at least 1200 calories you should be ok in staying out of stavation mode. Hope that helps.
  • I know mine is 1200 on a daily intake of 1440. Ususally if you are way under when you submit your calories for the day it will tell you if you are way too low.

  • I to have over 100 pounds to lose. Basically I have been doind toning exercises along with weigh loss exercises (cardio) to help tighen /tone. It seems to be working.

  • Something that I found that helps me is it is not always about the scale but the fit of your clothes. I have found that the scale has not budged my my clothes have gotten looser. Your off to a great start don't let it beat you.
  • Welcome. I wish you the best. Just remember that the scale isnt the only thing to measure your success. I have found that out myself. WHen your clothes start to fall off even when the scale does not move you have made an accomplishment. It is not an easy road but you can do it.

  • Welcome. It is a hard road but you can do it. I have around 100 to lose but when I started trying last April I had about 150. I did not start actively using this site until a couple of months ago. It is a slow process because it seems like so much but this site and the support helps.

  • I only log any excercise I do. From what I can tell from the Goals part of MFP every day activity has been accounted for.
  • I have an 8 yr old and he loves it. Especially the Kinect Sports game. I find the games to be fun myself and quite a workout.
  • I believe the option for workout is under perform it
  • Dance Central has a workout mode that tracks calories. I don't know how accurate it is.
  • I wish you the best of luck. I too have just recently started the gym with a friend. We do 30 minutes of cardio then 30 minutes of the machines. We also alternate each day on the machines. For example Mon abs, Tues legs, Wed arms, Thurs legs, and Fri abs. We do get in a few crunches each day though to help with the stomach…
