I found this app for my ipod touch and thought I would give it a try. I have been using a different calorie app since the end of April and lost 30 pounds but it did not have an online site.I hit a plateu for a couple of months and decided to try and switch things up. I tried Weight Watchers online a couple of years ago and never lost past 20 pounds. I have always had a hard time making time to excercise but this week I have started getting up 30 minutes earlier and doing programs that I have recorded from the fit tv channel and trying to play my Wii games that require activity in the afternoons. My main issues with weight loss other than excerise is that if the dish is good I don't want to stop eating even though I am full (I have gotten better with this) and when I am at home (weekends) I know the food is there and easy access so at times I find myself snacking. Even though I do not have any current health problems, I want to lose weight to stay healthy.

There's nothing wrong with having a snack, you just have to make sure that it's the right type of snack. I got rid of the chips, cookies and other junk food in the house. I used to be eating all the time and couldn't stop. I wasn't hungry, I was just trying to fill myself up because I felt empty inside. It took some time to get to the point where I am now. I got a lot of support from this website. There's lots of great supportive people on here. It helps to make your diary public. You will get advice from your friends on your food choices. At first I didn't like that, then I realized that they were trying to help me. And help they did. I got advice from people who have been where I was and had lost a great amount of weight. The first rule is don't be so hard on yourself. The point is you are here and you are trying and that's the first step. The second, try to find out what's bothering you and why you are turning to food. I'm an emotional eater, so this was very important for me to do. Third, don't give up, never stop trying. Even if you blow it one day. This is a life style change, it took some time to get to where you are so it's only reasonable that you will need some time to take it off. Be good to yourself and welcome. I hope that you will enjoy it here.0

Thanks for the encouragment and the advice. I can be an emotional and bordom eater at times. I think that support helps and I am happy that I found a place where I can get it from those who know the struggle.0
