Amazing -- you look so much younger too.

I'd drop 100 cals a day from your current total, not drop 100 cals a week, but progress will likely be much slower than if you follow 1700 cals/day -- would that affect your motivation?

What is your current BMI (or weight and height)? If your BMI is between 18.5 to 25 already you'll find it difficult to lose that much at all, let alone that fast. It might be better to concentrate on just eating healthily -- it's difficult to say without more information. Post some more stats and we can help. :)

I don't post much, and don't log food, but I do check-in every day. If seeing a high check-in run is motivating for anyone, feel free to add me.

You will be able to re-set your streak yourself. I missed one day (after a genuine streak of 1000+ days) and was able to fix it myself. Although I can't remember how -- I'll have a look for you. EDIT: You re-set your streak here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/login_counter_reset_request

I weigh daily (unless I'm away from home), and log it in MFP daily.

Ask for a child's portion of fish and chips if you can -- that's what I do when I have fish and chips. It's cheaper as well! Or skip the fish and just have a cone of chips. You could walk from Matlock to Matlock Bath and back again as well to burn some of it off. :)

Instead of the black coffee when you're too busy/don't feel hungry for breakfast, could you switch for a glass of milk or juice? That would give you a little more nutrition and might help? (I'm not anorexic so not speaking from experience, it just seems logical to me.)

928 days...

Keep doing what you're already doing -- change to counting calories when what you're doing now stops working.

I'm from the UK. I've been on MFP a while, but let things slide... I'm back again now before I gain back half of what I lost before (or more). Today is a new day and a new start (for me), and while I won't be a "clean eater" I do intend to do my best to eat to MFP's calories. Happy to add anyone as a friend and to try and…

I really like your outfit and don't see a problem with it. I think that someone is jealous of your success and is trying to undermine you. Don't let them win. If the weather is nice can you eat outside somewhere, instead of at your desk? Hiding your gym shoes I don't see as unreasonable -- even if you don't have members of…

What you may find delicious, others may not. The smell of tea makes me feel sick for example -- if someone was sat next to me and drank it, I would have to move away. Maybe your microwaved food has the same effect on one of your co-workers as tea does on me. Or perhaps someone just doesn't want you to eat at your desk (are…

Initials or name of your kid(s) and/or their date of birth(s). I rather like the idea of having them tattooed around an ankle, with some kind of vine wrapped around the text, all around the ankle.

37, no kids, no relationship and unlikely to ever be a relationship... so count me in.

I read your post. All of it. You need to find someone supportive in real life, perhaps your doctor as a start, who you can talk to and who will help you. Loneliness? Been there. Still there. Doubt I'll ever not be there. I've known since I was about 8 years old that I'll always be that lonely old woman, no husband, no…

5 ft 4 inches. 151 pounds (10 stones 11 pounds). Size 14 in Dorothy Perkins jeans, could probably squish into a 12.

770, but I don't actually log my food. I'm trying to do this without obsessing over every calorie -- and I know I would, I tried logging for a while and that's exactly what I did!
-
Some branches of Morrisons give the calorie counts on the labels for each food now -- maybe your branch will add the info soon? Otherwise, approximate with similar entries from MFP's database. It won't be perfect, but it'll be better than nothing.

I'm starting over again on the 1st too. I'm not using it as an excuse to pig out until the 1st, I'm still trying to make better eating decisions until then... it's more the freedom from logging... I'd become a little too obsessive over logging for my liking, and need to get out of that bad habit. I'll be doing IIFYM, just…

I'm the same as I was two weeks ago. But I'm up 12 pounds from a year ago, so I need to get back there!
-
Lost 0.8 lb. Although this week is weird anyway, with going up and down every day... I don't really care, I'm doing the best I can while enjoying myself and will start over properly come January 1st. Christmas is just once a year!
-
Probably 1500 -- I'm guessing I've eaten/drunk double my 1500 daily amount. I haven't logged it, so could be out. I have resisted some things that I would usually devour, so I've enjoyed myself but shown some restraint as well, which is progress for me. And that's all that matters for me.
-
I'm not logging. Partly because weighing things isn't an option tomorrow, so I'll have no idea of portion sizes... and partly because I'm not logging again until January 1st. (I'm starting over again in 2014.) I'm going to eat things I like, but I won't go crazy... I aim to maintain, and if I do manage to lose, so much the…

Eating fat doesn't make you fat. But as long as the majority is from healthy sources, I don't think it's a problem.
-
As a fellow 5' 4"-er... you should be able to eat 1500 a day at your current weight, and still lose. I'm on ~1400 a day at the moment, at ~145 pounds. I don't exercise, other than a bit of walking. Unless you're diabetic or pre-diabetic, don't worry about the sugar, especially if the sugar is from fruit and veg and not…

Speak for yourself. I love the fact mine shrank, and I'd be happy if they shrank all the way down to an A cup.
