Thank you - you're so kind! I guess I have been taking body measurements but didn't consider that my face would change, too. A friend saw the photo from our Christmas card last year and said he didn't recognize me - that's when I decided to pull out the old photos. Cindy How I lost 40+ lbs: http://youtu.be/EttwviubBF4

Don't let one week throw you completely off your goal. You can do this. You are going to have ups and downs. Keep going! Cindy A glimpse at my 40+ lbs weight loss journey: http://youtu.be/EttwviubBF4

Thanks. I was reluctant to let him featured me in a video but it turned out pretty well. I have learned a lot from my trainer. Cindy A glimpse at my 40+ lbs weight loss journey: http://youtu.be/EttwviubBF4

I'm 5'6. My starting weight was 185. I'm currently at ~143. I started MFP in January 2012, and I set new goals each month to help keep me motivated. My personal trainer did a video last week with some before and after pictures - I'll post the link below. Cindy A glimpse at my 40+ lbs weight loss journey:…

I love reading these "Yay" stories...this is awesome and very motivating! My latest success would have to be I am fitting in a size 6 (maybe even a size 4) now. Last summer, I was a size 12...and I have never been less than a size 10, until now. Cindy A glimpse at my 40+ lbs weight loss journey: http://youtu.be/EttwviubBF4

Did your personal trainer do your body fat % for you? That has been the most helpful tool for me. I have my personal trainer measure it once a month, so I can track my progress. It's much more accurate than the scale, in my opinion. Stick with it. Sounds like you are doing the right things. Cindy A glimpse at my 40+ lbs…

That's great - keep it up. I tell my friends to take pictures every month or so. Even if you don't share them publicly, it's great to be able to look back and see how far you have come. I wish I had been doing that all along but I only started taking pictures in January. And my personal trainer also measures my body fat %…

My personal trainer, Eric Frank, has put together a video with the three vital steps but I don't think he has released it publicly yet. If you "like" his page on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/vitalitypower - you will be able to see the video when he posts it. And you can also subscribe his page on YouTube, where my…

Thank you very much! I've been doing a lot of push-ups in the Hundred Push-Ups Challenge. I've started strength-training, too, with free weights and that has definitely given me a little more definition.

True. Many of the gyms in my area have straps like this now. I agree, a plank is a great, easy-to-do anywhere, exercise. Holding a regular plank is so easy for me now that I have been working on mastering this exercise.
