My resting heart rate has always been in the high 80's and 90's. Statistics show resting heart rate's that are above 90 have a greater chance of heart disease and mortality. Well yesterday while sitting at work I decided to check my heart rate, it was showing 58-62.
I work as a school nurse so throughout yesterday I checked it and the same thing 58 to 62. I have never been that low. I credit it to the running I have been doing since March and working with a trainer twice a week. The scale hasn't moved much these past 4 months but to know I am healthier makes me happy happy happy

What a great post! Congratulations!! It's always so nice to see results, even when they're not on the scale. A low resting heart rate is so important! Good luck on the rest of your journey!
