Which would work, it I haven't eaten about 1400 calories before snack attack sets in. When I go over, it's usually by about 200 to 300 calories. Since I"m eating close to my total calories burned a day, it's usually too much.

Don't starve yourself. Remember this isn't just about losing weight, it's about finding a life style that works for you. I suggest you eat at least a portion of your exercise calories. Do what you need to do to feel comfortable on a daily basis. I tell myself this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon.

Sounds like you may need a new bike. you can get stationary bikes pretty cheap on craigslist or from garage sales. I picked on up for $20. You might also try used sporting goods stores. There's almost no reason to stay with a bike that hurts you.
