Im a lifter and also do cardio on alternate days. I workout on an empty stomach and actually feel good afterwards, not hungry. I eat a small lunch but the bulk of my calories go on dinner and I leave it as late as possible before I eat those so I dont feel like **** before bedtime. Give it four weeks at least

I'll have dinner the night before then on the following day (fasting) I eat lunch no snacks and then dinner bulk of my calories is at dinner time

This is amazing! Well done! You must be feeling on top of the world. I have just completed week four and have lost almost 5lbs. The loss has been slow but Im losing inches as well, clothes are loose, skin is good, lots of energy even after nights I dont sleep well (fasting days in particular)
-
Ahhh, that will explain it. I also find that alot of people lose differently, slower, quicker and more in inches when the scale slows dowm. Well done on your loss so far :)
-
OMG that is a lot of weight for five weeks. Do you mean 15 weeks? If not this must hold the record for such loss as the book reckons a loss of a pound a week for most people

Ive lost 4.5lbs in three weeks Im now into my 4th week and wont be weighing myself until Friday. Although the weight is coming off Im also feeling highly energised, my skin is looking good and Im finding Im not very hungry on feed days. You should watch the doco and read the book. I took two weeks off after having mine done on my back. The instructions I was given was to let it heal and then start up again. I wouldnt risk it.

Only thing that has worked for me is the 5:2 fasting diet. Eat 500 cals twice a week for women and 600 for blokes and the other five eat normally. I drink lot one day a week (Saturday night) Weight is dropping

Is actually losing it (personally speaking) I have tried all sorts but finally seem to found something that works for me which is a blessing had a constant loss for near on three weeks now.

Im doin 5:2 this is is my first fast day in my third week. Ive lost around 3lbs. But can see my tummy shrinking so Im losing inches. Eating 500 cals is quite simple. I skip breakfast and eat lunch and dinner while drinking a lot of water and about three cups of green tea. If Im really really hungry I'll have a can of diet…

Im doing 5:2 at the moment, 500 cals twice a week (Tues and Thurs) and 2100 cals the other 5 days. First week I lost 2.86 pounds Im now into my second week and this will by far be the easiest week. Have heard it only gets easier as the fasts go by. I also lift heavy and the energy levels have been great, no need for pre or…

I lost 1.3 kilos or nearly 3 pounds in my first week. So far so good, like the fact you can still eat something rather than nothing and I also find my non fast days that Im not over eating.
-
I dont and I have seen members here post that they dont either. I just have 500 calories 520 max
-
Third fast completed last night on the 5:2 and Ive lost 2.86 pounds(1.3 kilos) have been working out and not over eating on feast days Very surprised how Ive survived on 500 calories twice a week! Although I went over by about 15 cals yesterday but its not the end of the world

Brush your teeth then go to sleep.

I agree! I have one at night time and I always dont feel like reaching for more food afterwards.

Heavy lifting. At the moment Im trying 5:2 ADF (IF) so cant really comment too much on that cause Im a newbie at it but am surprised how well I have done thus far with IF
-
The alcohol and I only drink one night a week. Waaahhhhh lol usually what comes with that is the day after, hungover and wanting greasies and mucnhies all day.

It is normal to feel famished after a heavy lifting workout. Make sure you stick to your macros however, I am supersetting at the moment using 30 reps for warm up and then 16 reps each for the supersets using much lighter weights and Im still hungry afterwards. Do not be afraid to increase your weight. Fail for me would be…

Definitely log it then. I have done this so many times and made better choices after seeing the calorie content in junk type of food.
-
Can you not take your own food to work and maybe treat those snacks as a treat once a week or longer?
