  • Yes!!! It is SO important to have good fitting shoes, you could cause so many more problems by having bad shoes. If you wait, I know tons of places will have black Friday sales and what not. I also happen to love roadrunnersports.com, and always go for last seasons models, they are cheaper!

  • I use Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino and Syntrax Matrix mint cookie. They are really good and have lots of protein.
  • I think what could really help you is to build up endurance first (even if its not to running). I attempted C25K when I was around 280lbs and it was horrible. I started doing the elliptical and made sure I could actually attempt to workout and then it was easier for me to start jogging... If that makes any sense.
  • This reply probably isnt helpful, but I have done it twice, once about 2 years ago and loved it, and once about 6 months ago and strained both of my quads and now im scared of it :( I love the class and how its strength but in a fun way, but Im just scared ill hurt myself again :/
  • I started it yesterday. I am surprised at how easy it was for me. I remember trying this almost a year ago and failing miserably. I have done 4 5k's already, but mainly walked them. either way, I am excited to start!

  • It is definatly a mind game. I have lost 106lbs in a little over 9 months and I feel huge, but when I see before and after pictures I see a difference. I think I have a bit of body dsymorphic disorder. Its hard :(
