My food, not my exercise.

Just go to "goals" and there will be an option for "manual" or "guided" fill in all the info and it does the rest :)

Hmm unless they changed things, then yeah, something is off. In answer to your question I'm afraid there's not an exact answer, for me it was a bit of trial and error. A lot of people find that their calories burned are overestimated and so eating back all of the cals wasn't working. Others find It's pretty accurate for…

Did MFP change their settings? I thought their lowest recommendation for calories consumed was 1200? Did you do guided goals or manual?

There are always going to be those there judging. This is a part of life. I think it's the minority though. Most people are there for themselves and are not focused on you or anyone else. I've been in the spot where I want to try something new and I feel that hesitation like "Oh gosh, I'm gonna look stupid and/or weak" or…

I've given it up twice for a period of time. First time was when I quit smoking (I know, gross) about 10 years ago. I realized drinking derailed my efforts so I quit both for about a half a year until I was able to enjoy a beer without feeling like I needed that cigarette with it (again, ewe.) Second time was when I…

Hell yeah!

Honestly I'm not sure I would have noticed, unless it was really ill fitting. I'm kind of oblivious to mundane office fashion though. I really only take notice if something really stands out (in a good way) or is a bit of a hot mess (unkempt/wrinkled/ill fitting etc....) *shrug*

No magic wand but sometimes with the week prior it can help to stay away from caffeine, drink tons of water and eat foods lower in sodium and sugar. I have heard these things help some but to be quite honest, it doesn't help me. I retain the water no matter what:/

YAY! CONGRATS!

I'm down for Miles on this one! Unfortunately our generation has seen Peter Parkers origin story (unfortunately kinda fail) on the big screen too many times recently. I think people may be growing tired of it. Miles would be a fresh take on Spidey for a while. And yes, the diversity would be welcome.

No problem! Honestly if you are just walking, you are likely over estimating the calories burned by....a lot. MFP really overestimates as well as the exercise machines. That, combined with the fact that the MFP is just an estimate in the first place and your weight loss is really slow, I still suggest lowering it that 200…

hehe, She's been a tough one to follow. I think what she meant to say was that MFP has her at eating 1760 to lose 1lb a week and she will usually eat somewhere around 1960 instead. She feels like since there is still a small deficit, she should be losing faster than .25 per week (if that.) Many have already explained if…

Okay yeah! It looks like that's been confirmed now. I'm happy :)

Reading through some of these is scary. I'm so glad I have been able to avoid the online dating scene. I have friends with terrible horror stories as well.

I'm slowly making it through The Hollows series.

I had mixed feelings. I'm super excited he will finally be included, but Buzzfeed reported that it WILL be Andrew Garfield in the role and I'm not really a big fan of him as Spider-man. If it's true he's not, I'm actually way more excited. It's unfortunate, but I feel Spidey needs another fresh start.....again.

For meeee!

Is it possible you are near your period? Give it another couple of weeks. If you are certain you have stuck to your calorie goal (measure and weighing food) and still don't see results then you may want to visit your doctor and talk to them about it. There is no way it's fat gain. That's still quite a bit of water to hold…

Strengthening the peck may or may not bring you the lift you are looking for, it certainly wont hurt though and it will improve your strength and health either way, so I say do it up! Creams also wont hurt, I don't think there have been any creams that have been truly proven effective though so you might want to save your…

Yes, a lot of woman go through this. Totally normal. There really is no way to "re-firm," though it is possible that your skin isn't done tightening up as much as it will (it can take a while, I have heard a year or more but don't quote me on it because I'm not sure.) After that though your skin is what it is. Like…

Been there, years ago, but I still remember it quite well. I know caffeine plays a factor for sure, but I do think it was more a sugar addiction than anything else. I wish I had some really great advice for you, but it really just boiled down to a real resolve because those cravings were a biiatch for a while. Things that…

Well done! Also, you are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!

Looking good! Keep it up!

Try sticking to the number you've been given instead of going over and see what that does for you. 1760 is a good daily amount, you should be able to get all you need in there as well as snacks. The other option would be to be more aggressive with your goal and go to 2lbs per week. This would not be too aggressive for your…

Amazing job my friend! I can't imagine how great you must feel!

Yeah, sorry....no tricks up this sleeve. I wish there was. The only thing to gets me through is upping the good old fashioned determination within.

I save for snacks. Snacks are important to me. Usually apples and popcorn are what I snuggle up with to watch a show or two in the evening. Like others said, you gotta find what works for you. As long a you are meeting your nutritional goals for the most part, save for all the snack you need!
