  • I would love to have some active people on my thread. Most people that I started with-over a year ago are inactive. I am still on my journey and miss seeing the likes when I post something as simple as a fifth of a pound lost. Thanks.
  • So here is what I posted on May 31st.... Today 184.4 6 week...180 12 week... 175 I am very proud and excited to say that I am about 174.6 so I met me goal. I am very, very excited. • I have to toot my horn as I thought I was behind in what I was aiming for (I think about a pound a week is average). My 6 week goal was 180 and I am a half pound ahead. Oh yeah.....toot toot!! I hope everyone else (even those not posting numbers) have made or are close to their 6 week goal. Starting 184.4 Week 1 184.4 Week…
  • I am on my kindle so I am unable to cut and paste my previous numbers (not sure how to do it on here). My weight this morning is 179.4 which is not only a loss but it has been a long time since I was in the 70's. This loss is due partly from stress from family issues though which suck. I will keep the loss though.
  • I am sorry to hear about your pain. I have been there, done that...most everything except the radio frequency ablation. I do have a TENS unit which I use but, eventually I am maxed on power with that and the pain returns. Have you thought about a second opinion--sometimes it a good idea to get a new set of eyes on what is…
  • Starterbeauty--Congrats on the loss! rajathwalharr--I wish I could add some input, I am T2. I do know muscle weighs more so when my scale does not go down or up a little, I pay attention to how my clothes fit. I have had in the past, no loss but, my clothes be looser. Hopefully your dietitian will be able to see what all…
  • Thank you. I am so excited about this...gives me motivation

  • I am not sure if this really belongs under this topic or not but, I am very excited/happy..... I got some new capri to wear and I got them in a smaller size--they were very tight, you know the suck in gut while laying on the bed to zip them up type of tight  Well, today I put them on and none of that...oh yeah, happy…

  • Starting 184.4 Week 1 184.4 Week 2 183.8 Week 3 184.0 Week 4 184.0 Week 5 182.8 I did weigh myself this morning, so I will take it a total of 1.6 weight loss. I know that I am about to start to post some pretty big numbers--as I stated above been dealing with some family issues and this time I can tell it is effecting my…
  • Starting 184.4 Week 1 184.4 Week 2 183.8 Week 3 184.0 Week 4 184.0 (normally weigh myself first thing in morning...not last thing of the day--don't know if that makes a diff or not) Nothing changed but, I should not be that surprised as it has been a bad week for eating and next week will just suck as well....on the plus…
  • Thanks for all the replies. I figure that I am going to give it my best--or at least try my best considering my injury. I have no idea where my weights are--have not seen those in years...not that it matters as I am on weight lift/carry etc restriction due to my injury. I figure a couple of cans of soup will work for…

  • That is awesome that you have been able to cut down to just 1 a day!! Keep us posted in letting us know how it continues
  • UGH!!!!.............. Week 1 184.4 Week 2 183.8 Week 3 184.0 I know I should not but, I blame my older daughter...it was her birthday yesterday and we celebrated and yes, I did go over some in all areas. I know I should probably have waited to weigh myself but....... I have no excuse to give. Next week I am predicting a…
  • Starterbeauty--- Congrats on the huge weekly loss!! That is an awesome number. Good Luck with month 2 of insanity.
  • Start 184.4 This week... 183.8 (I think).... I do nit remember so I am taking a guess..small loss as i am thinking so of it has to do with the visit from Aunt Flo as well... Fingers crossed for big numbers next week.
  • I know yesterday was weigh day but, I do not see it anywhere--I do have new glasses coming in the next few days so maybe I am over looking it. I did weigh myself yesterday and wanted to post my meager, meager loss. Can someone point me in the correct direction as to where the post is. THanks.

  • @cas I think you are just fine.....remember what works for one person may not be the best for another. I hold my 'weight' really well and when I go and have to be weighed...I am normally told by a nurse that I do not look as heavy as I am---though I do look like I could lose some. Also do not forget that muscle does weigh…
  • CAS317--- I have no idea how tall you are but, if you are at a standstill maybe you are where you should be for weight in relationship to your height? I know that for my height...5'3-5'4 I am suppose to be about 135 but, honestly when I weighed that back in the day I could not function.....I had no energy so I would be…
  • I just was thinking about today weigh in... Today 184.4 6 week...180 12 week... 175 Maybe I am off in thinking what I should be losing. Good luck to all
  • I am pretty sure I am part of the group...but, how do you find it?
  • I have been bad about logging in as well. I had a great weigh in...I think I am over that 'hump' that had me at the same weight for a while. Had a fabulous lab work earlier this week...my A1C dropped to a 6.2 which I am very excited about!!! I will admit that I have cheated some on my eating (and even had chocolate mousse…

  • I wish you the best of luck....I had surgery in 2011 for a couple of ruptured disc---had some other complications from surgery as well. Just take it easy and slow. I will not lie and say recovery is a breeze....it will hurt if you end up with the same sx I had---360 fusion where they go in from the front and back. I also…
  • I know I have not posted in a long time...thou have been holding steady, or a slight loss. This week I am the proud owner of 2.2 lbs less!! Reading others post of their losses and milestones of logging in, has kept me from putting it back on...thank you ladies and gents as I do not think it would be possible without your…
  • It has been a bit since I weighed in...had a wedding anniversary (yea us!) , so I am taking a guess and I think I am only down .2 lbs but I will take take fifth of a pond....better than gaining it.
  • Hi everyone, I have been with MFP for a while but, have recently been MIA due to some illness that my children all decided to share with everyone except me thankfully. I am hopefully back on track and will be able to post my weekly loss and such. Losing weight for me has century been hard due to an injury I received, being…
  • I am back.....everyone is done being sick at home...well except me as I did not get sick but, I think I may be on the way. I did weigh myself but I will hold off until Monday posting.
  • I did not weigh on friday...I think I was scared from the holiday. I did yesterday so if no one minds, I think I will wait until this Friday to post as it will have been at least. 7 day stretch between loss postings.
  • I am for starting the weigh in later this...just to get rid of that last extra bite from New Years....not to mention trying to complete revise my eating as I am now a diabetic since my doctor informed me on Friday.
  • Sorry I am using you guys as a sounding board.....how do you know a trigger is? Is it just from your numbers going up before and aft you eat? Won't that be every time you eat? I saw someone yesterday and she was of no help.."eat what you want" is what I was told but I am thinking I need to monitor carbs but I am not sure…
  • And right after me...the 19th!
