  • I tend to have a different opinion....just slightly. I think fruits are excellent (who doesnt), but just remember that if you personally want to keep your sugar intake down, there is no nutrient that is not offered in veggies that are found in fruit :-) "I" tend to do better and lean out more dramatically when I cut down…
  • LOL! I only do about 2x per year. And I feel guilty both times!!!
  • Vanilla 0% Greek Yogurt. It's thick and creamy. So some won't like this consistency because some people prefer a more runny topping for pancakes. But give it a try if you havent :)
  • Let us know if you notice improvements/changes with increasing your cals. :-). Good luck xo
  • I think you are eating the right amount of calories conidering that you want to lose weight. I know, people are going to attack me because you are "starving yourself"....(I assure you, you are not) If you want to lose weight, you eat at a calorie deficit. This whole starvation mode thing is over-hyped nonsense. It's…
  • I'm like you. I over-think it and freak myself out. I usually just end up NOT getting it cause I dont want to worry about it or feel guilty. But, Acg67's answer/advice was much better to take ;) If I "must" have something like that, I get frozen yogurt for sure, in a cup, and I ask for "kiddy size" Enjoy :-)
  • Woohoo!!! Definitely lookin GREAT. Keep it up girl!
  • The BEST yummiest shake EVER! :-) And it's even in the MFP directory already lol. It's very popular since the release of Drew Manning's book "Fit2fat2fit" Enjoy!! (p.s. you don't even remotely taste the spinach...) http://60daydude.com/2011/12/30/fit2fat2fitspinachshake/
  • "She's not talking about eating 1050 calories net. She's talking about eating that period. She's starving herself" You are NOT "starving yourself" eating a daily caloric intake of 1050 calories as stated above. If you want to lose weight, you are not doing anything wrong.
  • AmyB, You might find this calculator extremely helpful: http://www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/
  • In my opinion, you are doing things right to lose weight. This whole "you're starving yourself!!" thing is quite a bit of BS. Think about where that statement is coming from......it's one person who reads it, believes it, spreads the same message, some more people believe it, suddenly there are hundreds of thousands of…
  • You should be eating 1g of protein per lb of lean body mass. I'm 126 pounds, and eat MINIMUM 126grams of protein per day :-) Jenny
  • Hello! Eating after 8pm will NOT lead to weight gain so long as you are within your proper daily caloric intake! Intermittent Fasting is taking the health world by storm....and if you read into it, you will see that the time of day you eat makes no difference whatsoever... www.leangains.com Jenny :-)
  • JulieMarie, people reactions are to the article itself, not you. Don't feel bad or ashamed. Actually something GREAT came out of you posting that..... you got to see this onslaught of responses and perhaps this has opened your eyes to the fact that such a strict and generally untrue list of items to never be eaten...can…
  • I'm so confused. Did someone actually tell you that if you eat 1800, and BURN 1300, you will GAIN weight? If you eat 1800 calories, and then go burn 1300 of those.... that brings you to a net calorie intake of 500 calories. How on earth will you gain weight? I don't understand any logic here...
  • That's just torture LOL. Try a warm bath with Epsom salts four times a week and book your self a massage :-) Jenny

  • Hello ladies, A booked that literally changed my life was Marianne Williamson's "A course in Weightloss". I pray that each of you, struggling with an ED (i.e. binge eating) will give this read a chance. This is an exceptional spiritual guide to help you better control your food. Love, Jenny

  • HI There, Here is a yummy one for you. This is a pasta-free dish (low carb) and dependong on the type of meatballs you buy (I buy low fat turkey meatballs, or chicken meatballs) this is also high in protein and low in fat! Can't go wrong here. My bf LOVES this! Use lots of fresh basil. Jenny
  • Hi Phaedra, Although I have not had a drastic change in my diet, I found that when I drastically reduced one area of my diet, and my weakness happened to be sugar, that I was dizzy at work, light headed and tired (If I bent down to pick something up, I would get a head rush coming back up, if I slightly turned my head side…
  • I mentioned this to my colleagues and they all started ranting about how eggs are great for you (and indeed they are) BUT that they are very "binding". Any knowledge on whether or not eggs are infact constipating??
  • This one! lol I like my space!

  • I melt it slightly and then roll pieces of banana in it. I top it off with chopped almonds (they stick to the peanut butter). I eat it with a fork. Feels like a special dessert ;) Jenny x
  • They're jealous ;) And probably all contemplating doing the same.... You look GREAT. Keep it up.
  • Hi Jess, I also made the same switch about 2 months ago. 1200 to 1400. It was just enough to keep me satisfied. Amazing what an extra 200 calories or so per day can do. I dropped 4 pounds since increasing my calorie intake (which apparently was to be expected according to my nutritionist...who gawked at the idea of eating…
