I am a foodie too. I find this "diet" is perfect for me. I can eat the delicious foods I want. Cutting carbs/fats didn't work for me, I would just binge after a while. Now I try to limit my total calories to under 2000 once a day. It's so much less stressful :)

Hmmm... coffee with green tea. I might have to try that :)

Yes, Jillian, it is Diamond Dallas Page. It is tough at times but I really like it. I love the flexibility that I have gotten back after many years of being morbidly obese. My husband did the workout with me the other day and was impressed at how it gets your heart rate up.

That is so true! I have this OCD thing with the scale and I get mad but I refuse to quit. I like that people are starting to notice :)

I'm 46 years young myself! I don't really count carbs right now. If I hit a wall and stop dropping, I might look into it. Aqua aerobics sound fun. I love the water. lol Feel free to add me if you like :)

Thank you for the wonderful replies and encouragement. I did finally drop a pound this morning. Yay! Maybe, I am back on track.

Gum. I chew gum constantly after noon. My window is from 4 to 8 so I will chew gum and drink lots of fluids.

I like it because I am not restricted to counting calories for every meal. I am not a breakfast person other than coffee so making myself eat breakfast every morning was difficult. I found that if I ate breakfast, I was hungry ALL day long. Now I can eat dinner with my family and not be stressed out that I am eating over…

Hello. I just started IF about a month and a half ago. So far I have lost 12 pounds. Mine is 20/4. I eat from 4 - 8 and keep it under 2000 calories a day. I haven't started exercising yet because I am waiting for my DDP yoga program to arrive, it was on backorder. Before IF, I was off and on counting calories and hating…

What they said ^ You sound like you have become a prisoner of your own anxiety :(

You did a great job. I started at a 24 too. I have lost down to a 20. Thank you for sharing your story :) Hoping one day to post on here myself.

You look great! Thanks for posting the inspiration! I have been feeling like I'm getting nowhere so this was much needed :)

You look great! I admit, I lurked on your page and now I'm even more inspired. Long live the mean people! :drinker:

I have a FitBit One. I love it :)

Calories in < calories out. Yup, just that simple. Don't think chocolate is the best dinner in the world but if you track it and stay at a calorie deficit, you will lose.

I think the sauce is what the crusty bread is for. I would definitely soak that up with some bread! Sounds yummy! :)

It never really bothered me until I read this: "The U.S. was ranked 17th in an assessment of the education systems of 50 countries, behind several Scandinavian and Asian nations, which claimed the top spots. Finland and South Korea grabbed first and second places, respectively, in a global league table published by the…

Thank you guys for the advice. I wasn't sure if I had entered something wrong in the calculator or not. Now, I will trust the process and stop stressing :) Thanks again
