  • That's awesome! Great job! I go back in June from my visit in January. I was at 9.1 and that's when I started MFP. Anxious to see what it is in June since I have dropped 15 pounds since that last visit.
  • Long time blackberry user who recently switched to the Samsung Galaxy Note. Never going back again. The droid is much better than the iphone (both wife and daughter have iphones). I like the droid OS over IOS. I love the widgets. And the Note is an awesome phone.

  • I buy the dri-fit nike shirts and shorts or the champion brand that looks like the nike ones at target. I just make sure I stay around the 7 inch inseam because that length is about perfect. I don't like too short but I also don't like walking/running in long basketball shorts either. I do prefer the sleeveless shirts for…

  • MFP was showing lower by a couple hundred calories. Of course 5 on 5 may be different. I haven't played full court with my HRM but with 2 on 2 I am moving constantly.
  • I wondered the same thing and the ones in MFP are way off. I wore my HRM last week when I played to see how many calories I burned and we played 2 on 2 for about 40-45 minutes and my HRM showed that I burned over 600 calories. I love to play basketball and it was a fun way for me to burn lots of calories. I have the Polar…
  • I do 30 minutes on my elliptical most days and it always said I burned about 300-350 calories. Then I got an HRM and it says I burn anywhere from 80-100 more than the elliptical shows.
  • I was doing 30 minutes on my NordicTrack Elliptical and it told me I was burning around 330-350 calories. I recently purchased a Polar FT7 and the same 30 minutes on it the HRM says anywhere from 430-450. I am burning about 100 more calories than the machine was telling me I was.
  • I have recently started using the Polar FT7 and love it. The chest strap is very comfortable and I would recommend it but it is also the only HRM I have used so I am kind of biased.
  • My wife and I started last night and oh my do I feel it this morning. My arms and legs are definitely feeling it. Looking forward to losing some inches and taking it one day at a time. Great workout!
  • I was diagnosed with Type 2 ten years ago this coming summer and I have struggled recently. I am on Metformin as well and the last visit with my doctor, my A1c was over 8 for the second straight visit and he said my next visit he would be putting me on insulin if I didn't do something about it on my own. So, I have found…
