Measurements are key! The scale doesn't always show the results you have earned, especially when losing fat. But inches will be lost and it's so motivating to see that when the scale isn't moving.

What you're describing sounds like carb cycling. There are some good books out on the subject and other shows to be pretty effective. There is also a cheat day on most of the carb cycling plans.

My understanding is that you need to create a calorie deficit to lose weight. I usually do not eat all my calories earned in exercise, except on the days where I am really hungry. Check this site out, it has a good explanation and shows you how they come up with the net calorie need.…
