My suggestion was to eat 2000 calories. I do not eat my exercise calories back.

Fingers crossed. I could definitely use that pick me up.

I'm not giving up. I'm just trying to find out if I'm doing something wrong. I'm pretty determined for the first time in my life to stick it out. It's just a lot easier to do what I gotta go when I'm losing and feeling motivated. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my post.

I completely agree. I know the overall matters most. I'm definitely struggling with eating because I struggle with foods. Like I can't eat meat leftover. I can't prepare meat (it seriously gags me). I struggled trying to be vegetarian because I can't eat soy products (like seriously bad stomach issues). So basically I…

Thank you! I really appreciate your reply. I don't want to give up. I really don't. I'm just struggling so bad right now. Not to stay the course so much, more like struggling not to get really really really depressed.

Well I sure hope it's like 8lbs of water retention

It was prior to this. But it usually gets all weird if I have any big life changes.

Thanks. I guess I'm just struggling stay motivated.

I have wondered about the calories thing before because according to Fitbit it says I'm not eating enough calories for how many calories I burn each day but I don't understand how I'll ever lose weight eating more than 2000 calories.

I do. I guess I just don't understand how somebody my size can drastically change their entire life style with food and exercise and not lose weight or get stuck at 11 lb

It hasn't moved in weeks. And no it actually didn't come last month (probably because of my new lifestyle) and no I'm not pregnant

Yes I do, with a digital scale. I'm saying if I eat a burger, I don't eat fries. I don't binge.

Thank you! I'm very familiar with that taste change! Years ago i quit eating bread and when i would be near it i swear i could smell the yeast and it grossed me out! Crazy how we can retrain our mind like that!

What you explained at the end is kind of what I'm doing. I have a small bowl of high fiber cereal for breakfast with a banana, a "burger" for lunch and then a big grilled chicken salad for dinner. I do like beans but i get tired of those quickly. I still eat them, just not more than once a week. I'm familiar with…

I think about this every time i crave Chinese

And i totally understand this. I'm just trying to start out as easily as possible. I'm normally a cold turkey balls to the wall kind of person, but not with dieting.
-
I do tend to get full easily and I really only struggle with "hunger" (boredom) at night. Thank you for the support!

I'm pretty good about measuring my food and using a scale. I plan to lower my calories as I get further along. Obviously motivation comes naturally when you start losing weight. But i need it to be easier right now.

I've tried! I used to devour veggies! This has been the worst thing!
-
I agree. Right now since i have 2000 cals available, I'm not really crowding out yet but I know if I lower that calorie goal changes would have to be made. I still eat veggies, I just don't eat them I much as I used to. I was a vegetarian for quite a while but for some reason when I had my second baby, my favorite veggies…

I know this for a fact. When I used to miss breakfast, I would pig out all day.
