  • What a wonderful success story and it's wonderful too that you an encourage the rest of us to keep on going! Congratulations on your success and being an encourager.
  • Great Job!! I am 5'5" Female/49 y/o and went from 172 to 145 last year from January to early Fall and I would also drop to 135 lbs. but I feel at this point I am at a loss what more I can do to drop. I feel I have done everything already except maybe become a raw foodie or vegan, something more drastic, but that doesn't…
  • Myself also being a once carboholic and still needing to attend regular carb anonymous groups like visiting helps like sharing here........I have found some comfort in eating things like tofu noodles or even spaghetti squash to overcome the times I want a big dish of pasta with sauce to satisfy my craving. No it's not the…
  • First let's say that when we eat, we are on a diet. Just the word diet makes you feel deprived. Then adding the idea that you have to be extreme equals "fad", because a fad doesn't last and a change in diet and physical should last. That was the first thing I kept in mind. At Christmas time 2012 I was my heaviest weight in…
  • I did see Blentec and wondered about that one too with such a high cost. Thank you for sharing. Maybe I will also consider the Blentec now that I feel the Ninja may not be the best choice. Thanks for your input regarding Ninja.
  • I did some research about the Vitamix and it's sad that the blender with such a high price has really cut the corners on the quality of it. Although it has some much better parts, there is no way it should be that much more expensive. What a shame we have to do such a juggle and not know which way to go.
  • How long have you been using yours twice a day? I have heard the plastic wore out on people and it ended up in their food and drink.....
  • From what I have read while dealing with my PF for many months now, we have to have foot support ALL the time. That means no bare feet or wimpy flipflops............sad for the Summertime especially. Whenever mine gets better and I get relaxed, it comes back when I do not keep my foot supported with a good arch support.…
  • Thanks everyone :)
  • I watched some comparison videos last night Ninja vs. Vitamix and it seemed the Ninja didn't measure up. Did anyone ever find themselves disappointed?
  • So your Ninja is an older model, not one on the newer current market?
  • No one comments on the Ninja Blenders? Wow, I guess no one uses them?
  • Ha, ha............okay, I have to admit when I first began to post I wondered if anyone would think bike, but surely I thought on the nutrition/food aspect most know it's a blender..................but I should probably go add BLENDER too..............I am glad I brought smiles though :)
  • Oh, Franks hot sauce? yum, maybe I will try that. Mix in Tuna sounds good too thanks............hoping someone else will pop up with something else :) Thanks
  • MFP has your carbs figured out for you, which by societies opinion would be lower than desired. I am on a 1330 calorie diet and I watch my carbs eating smartly the healthier carbs, for examples: whole grains, legumes, and those that are in fruits and vegetables. You needs healthy carbs, not empty carbs for fuel and optimal…
  • For me, definitely the exercise
  • kaylindeschan - WOW!! thanks so much for sharing all those wonderful recipes. I was so excited to see alternatives to some things I've been struggling to find realistic ingredients for, realistic and not something wierdo and yucky in the end. I will add them to my recipe collection.
  • Haarschmuckfachgeschäft, LOL - yea, I do realize it's a joke here, because I am fluent in German and my parents are German. I'm only asking for help because my parents are of old school and don't read any labels, or hardly and would not be of much help in this area of my life. So, thank you much Khal86790, youve been a…
  • Are the calories measured differently? or CALORIES as ours and also carbohydrates and fats are what concern me. I don't eat much sugar so not a worry.
  • Such good news, thank you so much for helping my out :)
  • I am flying into Frankfurt and will be spending the majority of time in Bad Mergentheim. Also visiting relatives in the Duisburg area for a few days. I want to try looking for a Supermarket to have at leat my lunch item chosen from there. Dinner I want to enjoy. I thought if I log on, I can enter the German items if it…
  • I think this will be my breakfast today. Thanks so much for sharing!
  • thanks for sharing, will definitely jot down for the future :)
  • The best foods for you are WHOLE FOODS and they are quickest and easiest too. All Fruits and Veggies are prepacked and basically ready to eat. Even with baby in arm you can eat carrots, celery, lettuce, olives, radishes and so forth. It only takes a few minutes to even blend up a smoothie. I make smoothies nearly every day…
  • Wow, I thank you all for sharing your experiences and also for a recipe someone above shared and the Link for Facebook. I am more ready to try them possibly today. Not so scarey anymore :)
  • Hmmmm, wonder what I'll do with them now............they seem a bit scarey now, lol. I paid 3.99 for 7 oz too!! and it's in liquid so I wonder what little I'll even have to eat by the time I drain, dry etc.....ha, ha. Well, if nothing else, it'll be an adventure thing.
  • Pasta version? Do you mean they don't always come in liquid form?
  • I think we are amazing when we cook two meals..........one for family and one for self. It also shows our dedication to our goal. Never give up! What I have begun thinking is sometimes opposite what they think of my food being sad at times. I find myself feeling sad for those who don't understand that the new ways are the…
  • Great job, amazing progress. You look even less than what you say you are............your looking fabulous. Wishing you all the best in your goal accomplishments.
