I don't give up what I love...I just find the healthier alternative. If that's not possible..then I just walk away. Giving something up to become healthier is a lot cheaper than eating smaller amounts, and being sick. Doctors are expensive!

I'm 40...getting ready to turn 41 in a couple months. I can definitely tell younger people that it's MUCH harder to lose weight at this age! The metabolism just isn't what it used to be!

I had a trainer a few years ago that had me on that diet. Fortunately, I'm the "caveman" type (O). Supposedly, I do best on a protein diet. I did it for a year. I cut out dairy, wheat, peanut butter. It was difficult. I lost only 30 lbs. It's an ok diet..but not very practical, and hard to stick with.

I have no choice! I have a trainer..and she doesn't take NO for an answer..lol! She understands about my issues (heaviness, fatigue, etc), and doesn't push me as hard during those two days a week she trains me. I seriously cannot wait to be done with all that crap!!!

Two tablespoons are all you really need. Be careful..because the acid in the vinegar can cause esophagus and gums burn, tooth enamel erosion, and upset stomach...if over consumed. I mix mine with unsweetened apple juice, then a full glass of water.

I agree! Take a rest day! I do 45 minutes of cardio 7 days a week. I have a personal trainer that has me doing a lot of Body Weight training twice a week. I do not do any more weight training than that. I rest on the weekends (all except for my 45 min cardio)

I log it as I make it...BEFORE I eat any. I take my lunch everyday...so while I'm making my breakfast..I am also doing lunch, and logging it. If I somehow end up eating out...I just try to find it in the database beforehand. I also have the app on my phone..so it makes it much easier to log!

It is High Intense Interval Training You put your body through short bursts of intense physical exertion...with small resting periods in between. It helps to confuse the muscles, and revs up the metabolism & heart rate very quickly!

I hate to say this...but MFP calorie counts are WAY off. You need to invest in a HRM (heart rate monitor) with a chest strap to get ACTUAL calories burned. I ALWAYS wear a Heart Rate Monitor with chest strap (Polar FT4) to get EXACT calories burned. Anyways.........Just Dance for Wii is my go-to for the exercise "rut". I also have 4.5 lb weighted hula hoops.

I wear a heart rate monitor with chest strap. It's on during my training..and I can stop it for each exercise, or let it go til I'm done, then record it under cardiovascular.
