I weigh every morning and average it over the week :) That way, it accounts for any excessive fluid retention, bloat etc.

I have to second Lindsey Stirling too! So good. My playlist varies on what I feel like, it can be anything from Mozart, Bond, Stirling, to metal and techno and the likes.

+1 about the induction. When I first began I was 'inducted' into the gang and they show you how to operate and workout with proper form! Some machines also have instruction pictures on them so you shouldn't be too clueless as to how to operate them! Like mentioned before as well, 99% of the time the staff will be happy to…

You pretty much answered yourself - what you are experiencing is water fluctuation which is why your weight changes. Water won't make you gain fat - it's just a temporary cycle. I try to motivate myself through idols [Arnold Schwarz; Shannan Ponton; etc etc.]; I motivate through mixed music; through quote son the mirror that I see everyday and most importantly, envisioning what I want to achieve every day and also whilst training!
